Al Kaaba stands in the center of the marble plaza of Masjid al-Haram and is a cubic structure built of gray granite. The exterior of the structure is covered year-round with a black brocade curtain embroidered with long passages of scripture in gold thread, creating a solemn and dignified appearance. The curtain is also traditionally replaced during the annual Hajj. Its southeast corner is embedded with the Black Stone, which is regarded by believers as a sacred object. It serves as both the starting and ending point of the circumambulation ritual, and pilgrims often express their reverence by touching it or gesturing toward it as they pass. Whether in the early morning or late at night, there is an endless stream of believers circumambulating on the white marble gallery, and the sight of layers of human rings moving around the structure is truly breathtaking.Makkah · 1.2 km from downtown

Safa and Marwa are two small hills located in the Grand Mosque of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. They are an important part of the Islamic pilgrimage and Umrah rituals. When performing these religious activities, one must walk back and forth between the two hills. This process of walking back and forth is called a pious ritual, symbolizing the steadfast pursuit of sacred faith. Safa is the starting point of the ceremony, and its white marble buildings and golden domes are solemn and majestic; Marwa marks the end point of the ceremony, and the mountain is relatively smooth and light in color, echoing Safa from a distance. Between the two hills are modern corridors and ramps, and the corridor floor is guided by lights of different colors, making it convenient for believers from all over the world to complete the ceremony. They are not only geographical landmarks, but also important symbols of Islamic faith and history.Makkah · 1.3 km from downtown

This is a must-go place for Muslims to perform Hajj every year! There are white simple air-conditioned tents all around! There are so many, so many that you can't count them! The mountain is not high and you can climb it easily! When you go there, you pass by Mina and Mustrifa! Call a car for 80 riyal round trip fare

Jabal al-Noor, the Mountain of Light, left an indelible mark on my Umrah journey. Ascending the rocky path, the air filled with spiritual anticipation, I marveled at the significance of this sacred site. Reaching the Cave of Hira, where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received the first revelation, was a profound moment of connection with history. The panoramic view from the summit was breathtaking, echoing the majesty of the pilgrimage itself. Jabal al-Noor stands as a testament to faith, humility, and the enduring power of spiritual journeys. An experience not to be missed for any pilgrim.
