The following is a 150-word reflection on my visit to Huiji Temple:
Stepping into Huiji Temple, one feels transported to a world of Zen. The temple's buildings are arranged in a harmonious pattern, their yellow walls and black tiles contrasting with the verdant mountains and trees, creating a tranquil painting. The glazed tiles of the Main Hall gleam in the sunlight, as if illuminated by the Buddha's light. Standing on the observation deck in front of the temple, gazing out at the distant merging of mountains and sea, a gentle breeze brings a sense of tranquility and peace. Here, listening to the lingering Buddhist chants and observing the devout worshippers, one finds an unprecedented sense of peace and cleansing in the soul. It truly deserves to be called the pure land of Putuo Mountain.
