Things to do in Qingyuan

Liaoning Qingyuan Red River Valley National Forest Park is located in the middle of Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, on the branch of Longgang Mountain, a remnant of Changbai Mountain. [1] It is only 5 kilometers away from Qingyuan Town, the county seat, less than 100 kilometers away from Shenyang, Fushun and other central urban areas in Liaoning Province, and less than 100 kilometers away from Meihekou City in Jilin to the east, with a total area of ​​9112.3 hectares. [2]

Fushun Dongshangkou, one hour to Qingyuankou, turn left and it is 2 kilometers away, there are road signs. In summer, it is a forest park. In winter, the snow trails are built using natural terrain, with lengths of 200 meters, 500 meters, and 600 meters respectively. Two hundred meters can be slid alone, and the other two need to be slid in a team. I think it may be that the long slide consumes a lot of time for single sliding and increases the waiting time. There are also two artificially built slides and an artificially poured ice rink. The snacks at noon are not expensive, instant noodles are 10 yuan, grilled sausages, and corn hot pot skewers. The overall cost performance is acceptable.

The scenic area boasts pristine natural beauty with canyons, waterfalls, and clear streams, and is rich in negative oxygen ions, making it a natural summer resort and a place to cleanse the lungs. It also features a variety of popular attractions such as high-altitude glass rafting, rainbow slides, and glass bridges, making it suitable for all ages. The entire experience is easy with no strenuous climbing, and a single ticket allows you to enjoy multiple attractions at great value. The scenery is unique in each season.

Few people, beautiful scenery, absolutely fantastic! There are lots of small fish in the river, and the rest area has swings – truly wonderful, exceeding my expectations! The entire one-way hike is 4.8 kilometers, and there's an electric shuttle bus at the end that takes you to the starting point parking lot for 15 yuan.

It feels good and is suitable for young people to play. Of course, the old and the young can also go, but some amusement projects cannot be done, but you can visit other projects. It is enough to play for half a day. The glass bridge and the cruise ship are good.

It was great. There were many people there when I went, which was quite impressive. The scenery inside was also very nice, the architecture was great, and the transportation was very convenient.

I had long heard of the Shenyang Palace Museum and always wanted to visit it. Finally, I had the opportunity to come here. I queued up to enter the palace and slowly browsed through the various halls with the crowd. I felt the weight and vicissitudes of history. The palace remains, but the people come and go. The world changes, and everything has changed.

There were so many people and tourists that I didn't have time to take in many things. It's like a low-end version of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Many of the artifacts on display were discarded from the Forbidden City. Some rooms were off-limits, so people crowded around the entrances to take photos. There was no lighting inside, so the photos didn't look great. The architecture is still quite distinctive.

I was truly healed by the forest oxygen bar in this city. ✅ Goddess Square: The main landmark, with a musical fountain show on the hour ⛲️ ✅ Reservoir Dam: The best viewing spot around the lake, a filming location for the movie "The World," absolutely stunning at sunset. ✅ Black Pine Forest: Tall, straight black pines reaching for the sky; a short walk along the wooden boardwalk after getting off the bus creates great photo opportunities. The park is very large; I didn't get to explore the whole thing.

Changbai Mountain, true to its name, is incredibly clean! The restrooms in all areas were spotless, with sensor-activated flushes and hot water for handwashing – a truly touching experience for an autumn/winter trip. The restrooms had different themes, such as sables and black bears, adding a touch of vibrancy. We arrived a little late; most of the leaves had fallen, and it was the dry season, so the waterfalls weren't at their most beautiful. The small Tianchi Lake wasn't worth visiting yet; it's small, the water quality is so-so, and the surrounding forests are bare. Overall, the autumn air was crisp and clear. The 50-kilometer stretch from the distribution center to the transfer center was beautiful, vibrant with color, and Tianchi Lake was stunning. I especially loved the forest at the bottom of the valley; the pine scent was wonderful! I highly recommend walking to the end; there are vast, fairytale-like forests there, and we were lucky enough to encounter foxes and quite a few chipmunks along the way!
