When visiting Puzhehai, we specifically brought our children to play in the water. We prepared basins and buckets for water fights, which the kids loved. Middle-aged and elderly people can choose the western or central route, where they don't need to play water fights and can just enjoy the scenery.

In the early morning, Puzhehei Village by the lake was quiet, the sky was reflected on the lake, and the breeze blew, rippling fine waves. The highest point of the eastern peak gradually revealed a red light, and the beautiful lakes, peaks, and water countryside also woke up from their sleep.

The village is nestled against verdant mountains and fronted by lush waters. The waters of Xianren Lake surround the village, with isolated peaks reflected in the water like a natural bonsai. In the early mornings and evenings, a shroud of mist creates a picturesque scene. This village, inhabited by the Sani people of the Yi ethnic group, boasts a history of over 400 years. Villagers preserve the original Sani culture and myths, hosting festivals such as the Yi Hualian Festival and traditional song and dance performances like "The Ancient Immortal." The village's buildings are primarily brick and wood, with gray walls and red tiles, elongated eaves, and a predominantly yellow and red color scheme that evokes a vibrant ethnic atmosphere. As a key component of the Puzhehei Scenic Area, Xianren Cave Village boasts a comprehensive range of tourist facilities. The village is primarily populated by inns offering excellent accommodations, as well as a variety of restaurants and shops to meet visitors' needs for food and lodging.

The lighting effects inside the cave are quite beautiful. You need to take a short water ride to enter the cave, and the tour takes about half an hour. The terrain inside the cave is flat, and the stalactites are very beautiful, making it worth a visit.

The guesthouse is located in Xianrendong Village, a peaceful oasis amidst both commercial and rural scenery. The backyard overlooks a lotus pond, perfect for a morning stroll with fresh air. The village is clean and tidy, and dining options are convenient. Getting a taxi to the western, central, and eastern docks is also easy. The rooms are clean and tidy with nice views. Breakfast is clean and hygienic, though the selection is a little limited. The owner is also very nice. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the location, the rooms, and the cleanliness. I hope the owner continues to improve and lives up to my recommendation. 😄 For those from the north who rarely see water and natural lakes, Puzhehei is highly recommended. It's also a great choice for southerners looking for a summer retreat.

This undeveloped scenic area, with beautiful prairie, is definitely worth a visit. The horse herders were very nice and the prices were reasonable. The road from Qiubei was quite difficult, taking an hour and a half to walk 54 kilometers. I'm sure it'll be incredibly popular once the road is repaired.
