In 2003, the building was transformed into a museum. The museum is divided into several exhibition areas. The ground floor displays a restored scene of a 1960s gendarmerie office, where visitors can learn about the working environment and daily life of the gendarmes at that time. The second floor introduces the history of the Saint-Tropez Gendarmerie, including its role and development within the French Gendarmerie system. In addition, the museum also has a dedicated film exhibition area, showcasing film works related to Saint-Tropez, especially "The Troops of St. Tropez" series, introducing the filming background, cast, and influence of these films on local culture.
