Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty stands on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, officially named "Liberty Enlightening the World." It was a gift from the people of France to the United States, created to commemorate American independence and completed in 1886. Designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, its internal steel framework was crafted by Gustave Eiffel, the designer of the Eiffel Tower. She holds a torch aloft in her right hand and a tablet inscribed with "July 4, 1776" in her left, with broken chains at her feet. The seven spikes on her crown symbolize the seven continents and seven seas, while the theme of breaking free from*********and embracing liberty is woven into every detail. Reaching the crown is the signature experience here: ascend via the narrow double-helix staircase inside the statue to overlook New York Harbor and the Manhattan skyline from the crown's observation windows. Crown access has limited availability and requires advance reservations. The staircase is steep and narrow with no elevator, so travelers with acrophobia or limited physical stamina should assess their capabilities. Opting for the pedestal observatory still allows close-up views of the statue and panoramic harbor vistas. The original torch replaced in 1984 is now displayed at the Statue of Liberty Museum on the island, which opened in 2019, fully presenting the statue's construction history and symbolic significance. The adjacent Ellis Island Immigration Museum recounts the stories of millions of immigrants who entered the U.S. here to begin new lives, often combined with a visit to Liberty Island. △Statue of LibertyCrown visit: one of the must-do experiences is climbing up to the statue's crown. Travelers can access the crown via a narrow spiral staircase and enjoy the magnificent views of the city skyline. △: Closely connected, the visit is a fascinating experience. This museum tells the story of millions of immigrants who passed through to start new lives in the United States. △Statue of LibertyPedestal access: Travelers can also enter the pedestal to observe the statue and its intricate details up close. The pedestal also houses a museum showcasing the history and significance of the statue.United States · New York

The Empire State Building is a magnificent Art Deco skyscraper, a living testament to New York's history and an iconic symbol of the city's culture today. It has 102 floors and stands 1,454 ft (approx. 447 m) tall at its pinnacle. After its completion, it held the title of the world's tallest building for nearly 40 years. The 86th-floor observatory is approx. 320 m above ground, serving as an open-air viewing platform that has been open to the public since the tower's completion and has been the backdrop for countless classic films and traveler photos. The circular walkway offers a 360-degree view: to the north, you can see the sprawling greenery of Central Park; to the south, the Statue of Liberty is visible in the distance, with the Hudson River and East River winding along either side of the city. Landmarks such as the Brooklyn Bridge and Times Square are fully visible, and on clear days, the view extends to the borders of multiple surrounding states. An audio guide in multiple languages is available on-site, paired with binoculars on the observatory, helping travelers identify landmarks and learn the stories behind the architecture. The 102nd-floor observation deck sits approx. 381 m above ground, featuring a fully enclosed indoor space surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass—weatherproof and ideal for travelers seeking secure panoramic photography. The queue route passes permanent exhibits on the 2nd and 80th floors: black-and-white archival photos and immersive installations recount the tower's construction completed in approx. 410 days, while King Kong-themed interactive displays and a surround-sound theater compiling hundreds of film clips highlight its pop-culture legacy. An evening ascent captures both sunset hues and city lights; as the deck is highly popular, allocate ample waiting time during peak hours.United States · New York

Located on the 100th floor of the 30 Hudson Yards building, it offers a unique perspective of the Manhattan skyline. Higher than other observation decks, the platform extends outwards, and the glass railings are tilted outwards at a 6.6° angle, making people feel as if they are suspended above the city when they are close to the glass.

Hudson Yards is definitely a popular attraction in New York, but its iconic building is about to be demolished, reportedly for safety reasons. Even without the iconic building, it is still very beautiful.

The cruise experience was great. It departs from the New Jersey pier and is very quiet, but be aware that the last cruise departs at 4 PM each day. You can get a close-up view of the Statue of Liberty, making it a wonderful experience.

The journey to the top of One World Trade Center is an experience in itself, culminating in a view that is nothing short of breathtaking. Stepping onto the observatory floor, you're greeted by a stunning, 360-degree panorama of New York City. Seeing the iconic grid of streets, the winding rivers, and famous landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty from this incredible height is profoundly impressive. The "Sky Portal" glass floor adds a thrilling perspective. For the most magical visit, book a ticket for just before sunset to watch the city transform from day to glittering night.#OneWorldObservatory #NYCViews #NYC #Skyline #NYCTravel #BucketList #NewYorkCity #Views

So the price to get to the observatory was cheaper than it actually is on their official site. I bought two tickets for $54, for me and my sister, which is the exact amount for just one ticket on their official site. The view was actually very good. The weather was good the day we went and we loved it. The place is good to go with everybody friends, couple, family, or solo.

This May, I finally made it to the United States, a place I'd long dreamed of visiting. The trip lasted nearly 20 days, and the grand finale was the Empire State Building in New York City. We observed the city from daytime until dusk and nightfall, experiencing the different charms of New York at different times of day. The view was truly breathtaking! Although we also come from a major metropolis, personally, I feel there's still a gap between our experience and that of New York. The Empire State Building visit brought our American trip to a perfect close!
