The New Palace (Neues Palais) in Potsdam, Germany, is a testament to 18th-century Baroque architecture. Constructed between 1763 and 1769 under King Frederick the Great, it stands as the last grand Prussian Baroque palace. Visitors can explore over 200 uniquely designed rooms, each showcasing lavish Rococo interiors. The palace is nestled within the expansive Sanssouci Park, offering well-maintained gardens, canals, and fountains.

Palace Square is located on Stuttgart's main street, Königstrasse. It was originally the garden of the old palace, but now it is mainly the venue for Christmas markets and other celebrations. The fountain, concert hall and monument on the square, as well as the chestnut trees on both sides of the street are the symbols of the square. When the weather is fine, you can bask in the sun on the lawn of the square like the local citizens, or enjoy a leisurely time on the benches under the chestnut trees.

The Royal Wilhelmina Palace, which is now a botanical garden and zoo, is a piece of paradise in my opinion and is very beautiful.

Schiller Square is said to be the former horse farm. It is the only square in Stuttgart that was rebuilt in its original form after the war. In the early 16th century, Duke Friedrich of Württemberg commissioned the famous architect Heinrich Schickhardt to complete the design and construction of Schiller Square. In the center of the square is a statue of the great German writer Schiller, which was completed by a Danish sculptor in 1839. Schiller was born in Marbach near Stuttgart. The buildings around Schiller Square are the Old Palace, the Old Prime Minister's Hotel (formerly the Prime Minister's Palace), the Ministry of Justice (formerly the Prince's Palace), the Monastery Church and the Musical Instrument Museum. These buildings are exquisitely designed and luxurious, especially during the weekend market, which can make people imagine the prosperity of Stuttgart in the past.

Although the weather was bad, the garden was still worth seeing. €10 seems a little expensive, but it's apparently the largest garden in Germany. To see inside the building, you need to join a tour, which would have meant a 30-minute wait, so we didn't join, but the whole L-shaped exterior can be viewed from a free area, so it's worth stopping by. I think it's worth a visit.
