Bernardine Garden
Bernardine Garden is located in the Old Town of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, and is a historic and scenic public park situated between Gediminas Hill and the Vilnia River. The garden's history dates back to the 15th century, when Bernardine monks established a monastery here and created the garden, planting herbs and fruit trees. Bernardine Garden covers an area of approx. 9 hectares and is divided into several areas, including a botanical display area, a monastery garden, and a children's play area. There are two fountains in the park. The central fountain is open all day on weekends during the warm season, and features light and music shows from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekdays. The garden also features a giant chessboard, a children's carousel, and other facilities, making it suitable for family visitors. There are not many Gothic buildings in Vilnius, and St. Anne's Church is one of them. Please pay attention to the opening hours. I went there in the evening and it was closed.
