For this price, you get a large room with amazing floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the 重庆 cityscape. The building has many cool shops as well including the 云端之眼 which has a panoramic view of the city. Someone mentioned in the comments that the slippers “cost” ¥30, but it’s actually free as long as you don’t take it away.

I have only positive things to say about this hotel and recommend it to anyone who is staying in Chongqing, especially those who want to explore the Shapingba area and/or be close to the Shapingba train station. It's about a 10 minute Didi/taxi ride away which made my commute really easy. I highly, highly encourage anyone to stay at this hotel! 1. It is newly opened (I believe October-December of 2024) and so it is very clean. It literally sparkles! Housekeeping is really good at keeping the room neat and tidy, which you can see from my pictures. I felt very comfortable staying there and of course, the decor was very nice! There is no smoke smell in the room due to it being newly opened. 2. It is a very quiet hotel. It is only one floor (floor 1 is technically the second floor on top of the lobby) to my knowledge and the other guests are pretty quiet. 3. The laundry room is extremely nice. It is very clean (no moldy smell) and the washer and dryer are separate, so it is very effective. There are two washers and two dryers and they provide laundry detergent and also an antibacterial wash if you need it. The laundry room is on the third floor and requires taking a different elevator to get there. Furthermore, the laundry room is in the same room as the gym but there isn't any heavy laundry smell that will disrupt your workout. There are also sinks, an ironing board, and a steamer (if I recall correctly) in the laundry room for all of your needs! The laundry machines are also quite advanced in the sense that you can adjust the temperature if you want; for example, I dried my clothes on low heat. Basically, all of the amenities are nice. 4. Finally, I have to say that the service provided by this hotel is top-notch. You can communicate all of your questions and such to them on WeChat and they reply promptly and so nicely. I checked out at around noon and a few hours later, while en route to my next destination via train, I texted them asking if they had seen a charger or anything of the sort left in the room as I had this feeling that I'd forgotten something. Not only did they reply immediately, but they even sent pictures of additional things that I'd forgotten, such as my slippers, that I didn't even think of. They helped to arrange a kuaidi (courier) to deliver my forgotten items to my next hotel and even helped arrange for express delivery so I could get it as soon as possible. They didn't charge any extra fees for this; all I did was pay the delivery fee for the courier. And when I couldn't track the progress of my order (just foreigner things), they sent me screenshots every time I asked for updates. Another time they helped me out was when I took the wrong elevator and was having trouble getting back up to my floor; I contacted them on WeChat and someone came to help me right away and explain what to do! This is a truly wonderful hotel with really caring staff. I highly recommend staying here!

Beibei
A cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings. Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends. The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on. There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn. A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day. The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish. The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there. My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.

Stayed in 2 different rooms. First room was because they were doing construction next to the room I originally booked. I went here during Qingming Festival, so the prices for this place were jacked up. (I think the original price of about $23 USD per night is more than reasonable but for $45 per night, I felt like it was a bit steep compared to nicer hotels I've stayed at in first tier cities.) What I really liked was how this place was actually smoke-free. There is really good ventilation because the windows open wide (there is a glass screen blocking 70% of the window tho). LOCATION: 5 minute walk to Line 1 and Line 2 train station, so it's very convenient to go anywhere. One of these trains (the green one) takes you directly to Liziba Station if you want to take pics of the train going through the building. The bnb itself is a bit difficult to navigate at first but the employee will come out to get you if you get lost. The bnb is RIGHT on top of Shibati (tourist location) and you can see shibati from your window. (The view is amazing) ROOM: The first room (the whale one) looks... really dirty. The shower door can't close all the way. The noise at night was a bit unbearable due to airplanes flying over the place and this weird dolphin sounding bird in the early morning. Second room (the room I booked). It's smaller than I thought. The bed itself was pretty clean but you can see some scuff marks on the walls and the wood was peeling off. Other than that, I was pretty satisfied with the 2nd room. Only complaint is that the shower area has no door separating the toilet from the shower area, so water from showers will get onto the floor. The drainage system is also terrible, so I often had to open the lid myself and clear debris. (Be very careful when washing your hair!) You can see views of shibati in the morning and at night from all the windows in both rooms. One thing is that the 2nd room is very close to shibati so the people outside can see you as they walk down a flight of stairs right across from the window. (It's not too close though.) Noise level will also be a bit loud because of tourists visiting Shibati.

The room was really spacious and clean and had a great view. They tea set, the bed was comfy and IT Has great location - just a four minute walk from metro station. That are all the pros. The staff was very unhelpfull. They didn't know a word in English, if we needed something from them, we had to use translator on our own phone, use another phone to make photo of this translations and send to them via WeChat. They couldn't even translate simple question asked in English via WeChat. The iron wasn't available when we needed it, when it was finally available we had to register and pay a deposit to get it. The breakfasts aren't good. You have three options to choose but all of them were quite poor and everyday the same. The restaurant we were supposed to have breakfast in was so cold we wanted to sit in the corner where it was a little warmer. The lady who worked there told us we couldn't sit there as that table didn't belong to the restaurant. We asked her to close the window but she refused. So we ordered breakfast to our room. The next day we ordered breakfast to our room at 8.00 but it wasn't delivered until 8.45 after writing to the reception and reminding them... Also when we booked this room on Trip.com there was only one breakfast available -meaning only one person of the room could get it. For the breakfast for second person we had to pay extra. Moreover, we booked a room with a view on 37th floor. As the matter of fact, the hotel reception is located in that floor but they have rooms available on different levels. They said they prepared a room for us on 5th floor. We accepted the room and it had a good view, but the information on the website is wrong and you can get confused. Also, the building where the hotel was located was still in renovation, some lifts weren't working, you could see some men doing construction work from 9 am. I can recommend the room but I don't recommend the hotel and the staff, maybe if you are native it is easier, but for a foreigner it was really confusing and inconvenient.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Chongqing that's located inside a tall office building — quite a unique setup, as the building houses multiple hotels. One of the highlights is the top-floor viewing deck, which offers a magnificent view of Chongqing’s skyline. Definitely a bonus if you enjoy city views! The main reason I chose this hotel was its proximity to the MRT. While it’s technically near an exit (only about 100m), the actual walk to the train platform is around 600–800m. Plus, the MRT exit has no escalator or lift, so carrying luggage up and down can be quite a struggle. Because of this, my wife and I opted for taxis most of the time — the fares were usually just twice the MRT fare and saved us a lot of time and effort. The location is very convenient though, being near Jiefangbei, the central part of Chongqing. One of the best parts of the hotel was the bathtub, which we really enjoyed during our 2-night stay. It fills a bit slowly but it works well with hot water. As for the room: The bed was okay — not the most comfortable, but manageable. My wife found the pillows too soft, and unfortunately, they couldn’t provide a firmer one or a second blanket when we asked. Daily housekeeping was a plus — the room was kept clean and slippers were restocked. However, the air-conditioning system is centrally controlled. You’ll need to inform the receptionist if you want to switch between heating and cooling, as you can’t adjust it yourself. The TV is actually a projector setup, which is interesting but may not be for everyone. The view from the room was great, though we didn’t prioritize it. The private bathroom was clean, but the public toilet area outside the room (shared areas) wasn’t well-maintained. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with a few quirks. I wouldn’t say everything was perfect, but for the location and the bathtub, it’s still a solid option to consider if you’re staying in the city.

Hotel and room were both very nice. HOWEVER. On our final night, one of the staff members was in the room next door to us from midnight until 2am shouting with this couple. It woke us up, and after we asked nicely for them to stop shouting, they didn't stop. Tried to call reception, but they wouldn't answer the phone. They then knocked on our door and woke us up at 3am demanding an apology for shouting at them. What a joke. Staff were useless in helping. It's a shame, because I would have given this hotel 5/5 otherwise. Cleaning lady was nice, bathroom was clean and modern, shower was good. Toilet was good.

The lady boss is very honest. If the room is not suitable, she will immediately give us other room types to choose from. She said we would check out later, and she agreed immediately if there were enough rooms. She also gave us local specialties when we left the hotel! The hotel is at Exit 9 of Xiaoshizi. Just go up the overpass and cross the road across the street. There are not many single-building hotels. It is quite good. You don't have to go around looking for it. There are residential buildings behind the hotel. There are snacks all day and night. Lianjie Hotpot Restaurant is quite good.
