Lombok Plaza Hotel and Convention

Staff try very hard to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't incredibly fancy but it tasted good and had nice touches like actual wheat bread. Near lots of shops and street food, there's not a lot for tourists in this town but this is probably the best neighborhood to be in if you are passing through. The room was nice and clean, only bad part was the mattress needed replacement. Maybe as things things pick up post-pandemic they will fix that.
Santorini Beach Resort

Santorini is located on the opposite side of the Gili T from the port. I walked through the center of the island to get there and it took me about 25-30 minutes. If you have big or roller luggage, I wouldn’t suggest this. I just didn’t feel like trying to reason with the horse drivers (no Grab on the island) cause it was my first time and I didn’t know how much it should cost. PS, horse drivers are a standard 100,000. Anywho, the resort is decent and I received a welcome juice. The room was a bit smaller than I imagine. My biggest disappointment was the pool didn’t work and I booked there for 3 nights. I had to use my friends pool every day which was near the port. Other downfall, is the resort is far from the night life which is closer to port if you plan to be out late. And getting back to the resort, you walk or bike down these very dark roads. I ended up leaving after day 2 because the pool still wasn’t working. Food wise, I only tried the Fried Ribs and it was ok. The people were kind and the service was nice I must say. They compensated me by giving me a free bike rental. My recommendation is if you plan to just stay in one place to relax, Santorini is ok for that if the pool is working cause the beach is just across from the resort. But if you plan to explore the island and possibly do night life, I would stay closer to the port.

A wonderful restful 2 night stay at this quaint hotel. The room was very clean with a very comfy king size bed and good pillows. It has a bar fridge which was very handy and also a kettle for tea and coffee. The Wi-Fi was good and easy to connect. The bathroom was clean with reasonable water pressure and hot water was reliable. Towels were clean and fresh. Swimming pool is large and great to refresh and do laps. Staff were incredibly attentive and were are standby for any requests. The cafe served really good food. Beach is across the road and great for sunset. Only thing this hotel needs is a bit more colour other wise a great stay. All in all good value for money. Thank you to all staff and management I will be back 🙏
Gili Amor Boutique Resort

Location is good, thats why i chose this hotel. Its not on the main street. But Im solo guy so this is best for me. Near to jetty and near to one and only night market and main night life area and all cafes. Hotel offers bikes rental and day trips with reasonable price. Its good enough for solo or couple who would go for diving for few days on the island. If u r in gili for more than 2 days, I’d suggest u go north to explore better hotels and different experiences on the island or meno or air would be for you. Very near to the beach for sun rise as well. Bfast is superb and other meals as well. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Pool is normal but they managed to use for the available space for it. Close to local mosque but they do provide some kinda ear plugs for that. But its just few mins during the day. Highly recommended. You cant expect very good hotels on the island with less crowded crowd and this is good enough for few days esp when its close to the jetty to leave.
Warna Beach Hotel

Location is fabulous, right across road from beach and bars/restaurants. Walking distance (10 mins) from Marina when u arrive. Staff friendly enough. Breakfast ok. Cute little hammock outside room which my son loved. Thats the good news. Bad: Room not the cleanest, sockets hanging off walls, opened mirror to find no mirror in it! Second mirror in bathroom dirty and cracked. Shower hose was hanging off wall and not connected to shower, this was fixed after we complained. I also had to ask for bedding to be changed on arrival as it was stained, toilet is yellow and dirty and the fridge doesnt fridge properly.. Water still warm even overnight. Aircon pispoor and door looks like one good shove and it would open even when locked. Water from the restaurant also warm, they dont put in fridge for some reason?? Few sunbeds round pool but by 11.30am they are all in shade and you cant move them which is a shame because its a nice quiet pool area away from the hustle & bustle of the beach outside. Breakfast included was basic if u like eggs or pancakes. I am travelling around Bali & Kuta with my 13 year old and a friend who lives here. This is third *budget” place ive stayed in and is awful compared to the other twom Definitely not recommended unless a room is just a room for you.
Rinjani Lodge
4.5/561 Reviews
This lodge was absolutely gorgeous and had amazing panoramic views from the ocean to the top of Mt. Rinjani. The garden is lush and colorful and full of butterflies, dragonflies and swifts. Staff were very kind to us and the food was generally yummy though somewhat expensive compared to other restaurants nearby. The resort is an easy walk to the nearby waterfalls as well as Rinjani trailhead, but there is not much around the area. Swimming pools were nice. Our showers didn't have much water pressure and we could only get hot water to work in one bathroom. The rooms are nicely designed though and comfortable. The only criticism I have about the dining is that they charged us for waters at meals when the water was free for guests if we just filled up our own bottles. Also, i would suggest that the staff empty out decorative containers that collect water as we saw some mosquito larvae inside them.
Illira Lite Praya Lombok
4/550 Reviews
We stayed here the night before catching a flight from Lombok airport. The hotel is very handily positioned for the airport and they run a free taxi service to the airport at 8, 10 and 12. There isn't much to do outside of the hotel however they do have a restaurant on-site. The rooms were OK but required a more thorough clean. The white plastic coating on the toilet seat had worn away in places and there were soap stains in the bathroom. The towels we were provided with were frayed at the edges. The bed was comfortable and air-conditioning good but I'd only reccomend staying over before a flight.
Vamana Bangsal

I wasn't sure what I wanted to do on a Lombok, so I booked this hotel for my first night, and the hotel itself is very close to the Bang Sai port. The room was great but the hotel was lacking things. The restaurant was closed and there seemed to be a very small staff on. The pool showed green algae, and there was no soap in the shower. They also only supplied a sheet but no blanket. My guess is it has just undergone renovation and is being worked up. There was only one restaurant open in the evening within walking distance and I definitely do not recommend it. The only other thing open was a small convenience store in the opposite direction towards the port, and it was like a wasteland around the hotel
Royal Regantris Trawangan

Excellent customer service.clean and spacious room.Truly an enjoyable stay! Even the location is nice, about 15 minutes away from the harbour by bicycle which is a good thing because it's much more peaceful as all the loud music is located near the harvour, so staying at this hotel is much more relaxing. There are also other restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. There is a beach right in front of the hotel, but the water level is too shallow so it's not suitable for swimming. But it's not really a problem because if you don't mind walking a bit, about 1-2km north of this hotel, you can find the best beach on this entire island! You can even find turtles there! I would not hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone as I am usually too lazy to write reviews, but when I do, it's either because it's too good or too bad, so you get the idea.
