Ile Bay Resort
3.5/577 Reviews
We stayed for two nights at Ile Bay Resort at Havelock. It's a newly built resort and not on beach side. So the budget was within our limit. I read some Google reviews and decided to book. But was sceptical about the stay. As soon as we reached the property, the first impression was wow. It's a very nice duplex challet type rooms. We got one at first floor. For my parents I requested one at ground floor and they arranged it instantly. Rooms are spacious, with a balcony.wash room is very spacious and neat and clean as well. Staffs are always ready to fulfill your needs. Food is okish but the hospitality surplus the taste. Only con is at evening you can't hang out as it's far from hustle bustle. Instead you can enjoy inside resort, by pool side or just sitting in balcony with your partner and having nice chitchat. Highly recommended for an enjoyable stay at Havelock

An amazing hotel to visit right by Govind Nagar beach. The hotel is very clean, with all that I could have wanted✨ Plus a super nice helpful manager and staff in general. Good food at the restaurant. Super nice room, comfortable bed etc.. also has hot shower. This felt like a harmonious place to stay. I would defiantly go there again if revisiting Havelock. Very happy to have stayed here 🙏😊✨

Best place to chill out with friends. This place has great ambience and lighting. And last and most important are the staffs, headed by Manish Bhaiya and his team, who were very friendly and provided us the best service they could. Also the tandoori items were delicious.
Matsya Island Retreat
4.8/541 Reviews
Its my second trip to Havelock and this time, my family with two kids spent two nights in this wonderful place. I love architecture as well as nature and the place is designed to organically blend with the nearby greenery, the hills, the palm trees, the beautiful stream nearby. Its a wonderful sight from the rooftop as well as from your rooms. The room and the bathroom both are elegant, artful, well crafted and aesthetically pleasing. The owner Ali is a wonderful person and gives full attention for your wonderful stay. As for Matsya, its peaceful and quiet environment gives you that peaceful stay and the location suits you for travelling and cover all of the beaches- Radhanagar, Elephant and Kalapatthar beaches. The staff are very warm and the hotel manager ensures a pleasant stay including your pickup from the jetty, your travelling and sightseeing in Havelock and your departure. All in all, I would sum up that Matsya is also one of the wonderful place worth visiting in Havelock.

Convenient hotel for stay in port blair Good: 1. Convenient location. Very close to cellular jail, airport, market 2. rooms were clean 3. staff was polite 4. can easily find autos outside hotel 5. breakfast was satisfactory Not so good: 1. Bathroom fittings need maintenance. Shower fitting was not in very good condition 2. small bed, queen size Port Blair: Its a cute town and can be conveniently and economically explored on scooter if that suits you. Ideally you should keep 3 nights for port Blair. Things to cover- cellular jail- carbyns cove beach-chidiya tapu-few islands nearby To do: Cellular jail is worth a visit and the light and sound show is not to be missed Carbyns cove beach is also worth a visit. The coastal road to this beach is very beautiful. If you have time you can plan both sunrise and evening visits. On the way to carbyns cove there is Flag point which is a must visit specially post sunset hours. There is a very patriotic feel to this place. Its a beautiful view seeing tri colour waving high in the backdrop of ocean and island and with some historical context to it which can be read there, the point has been nicely maintained and you can sit there and spend some time enjoying the breeze and views Autos can be found easily in port blair. It is better to hire autos for sight seeing then taxis which charge exorbitant rates The marine museum is a must visit. Its small but very informative and sets a context to the andaman trip, we visited towards the end of trip and were able to relate to the exhibits there and learned a lot about the islands and life. Anthropological museum can be skipped Annapurna cafeteria is a good local eatery. Reasonably priced and good food You should definitely make a visit to chidiya tapu. More on the same in my separate review

Coconhuts Beach Resort

Big size rooms - reasonably maintained . Has electric kettle, air conditioning etc. Beutiful location with an exclusive private beach where one can sit and enjoy the evening. Breakfast (Vegetarian) is complimentary). The restaurant has limited choice to offer. They are also very strict on restaurant timings - which closes early. No drinks are served. They have a so called bar - serving unknown brands and the ambience is not good at all. The people are courteous - but the infrastucture prevents them from performing. Hotel needs to upgrade its infrastructure.
