💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! It is Perfect hotel for traveller who are on road bewteen Reykjavik & Vik, even if going to Skatafell. It is located on calm and peaceful position and gave me very comfortable mood who are tired. More amazing is, their good restrarurant.!!!!! In the morning, serve free breakfast. It is already good. But in the evening, you can enjoy fastastic buffet with acceptable price. And they gave me very kind service with real smile. There are small road to reach lake by 5~10 min walking. When I walked, a lovely dog from hotel follows me and to try excising with him. It also one of very happy expereince. Lake sightseeing is also very good. If someone asks me to stay again, ”Sure. Absolutely.”

Pretty nice and extremely kind reception people. I love them. As usual like other hotels in Iceland, you should take a ride to get here. The hotel room was big enough and there were 3 beds in the room although I'm staying by myself. I love the way how the room is formed. I had two doors, one led me to the yard side and the other one faced the other rooms as well as the reception. IDK this is the general rule but the shower pressure was horrible. It took more than 30 minutes to take a shower. Speaking of the Hot tub, it was pretty small and adorable. But if you have plans to visit either Blue Lagoon or Secret Lagoon, You'd better skip this Hot tub.

Environment: It is simply satisfying all the illusions of a Nordic cabin! But it is more recommended to come with many friends! ! Because it is very suitable for dinner! However, pay attention to the check-in is self-service, pay attention to the email in advance, the location is very good, the bed is very comfortable ❤️ I hope that next time the weather is good, you can directly see the aurora!

The room and the shared area are clean but one disadvantage is that you can hear each movement from your upstairs or outside your room, even they walked. Besides, the self- service laundry is a bit overpriced for us although maybe I do not have much idea on how the market price in Iceland shall be. The location is quite ok and parking is convenient. And there is sufficient space for the shared area to no matter enjoy your meal or take a rest. By the way, the bed is too soft for us and the amenities in the room is quite simple especially the coat hanger.

Our car entered the mouse. The hostess gave us a wooden mouse clip, and we were all moved. The room does not include breakfast, but the male host waited until 8 o'clock until we arrived. We also prepared homemade cookies for us to eat. The room we lived in was very large and exquisite. We could see all the details and domestic Not the same. Many non-standard wonderful designs at first glance are the rooms made by the landlord himself. He also has a garage with all kinds of tools and his own agricultural tractor parked in it. Great!

Nice big room, beds are very good, pillow ok (soft). Shower etc. also clean and do not smell of sulfur. Good and very extensive breakfast. Restaurant is good and has tasty meals for a reasonable price. Service and staff friendly and helpful. Location is remote. Supermarket is far away. Diamond beach Is relatively close (30 minutes).

A lovely friendly, comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Hvergerdi. Rooms are a good size and comfortable. We don’t get to try the hot tub as we ran out of time. Breakfast is good and the staff friendly. Location is ok..within 40 mins you can be in Reykjavik or in the golden circle route. Vik is about 1.5-2 hours away. Very close to the lava tunnel experience too. There is a Petrol station and some places to eat, shops in the nearby town about 5 mins away

The cabin is located in a field, and the navigation is only 100 meters away. When we arrived, it was almost midnight, and it was difficult to find the entrance. The parking lot is just over 10 meters away, and all the connections are gravel roads. It was the first time to book a hotel with shared bathrooms, and the shared bathrooms felt very clean. The key was placed on the table of common facilities, where I washed up first, and then found our cabin No. 10 according to the map there. There are a total of 12 cabins. There are curtains in the cabins, but not enough to surround a circle. The roof is transparent, which is convenient for watching the stars and the aurora. There is enough heating and electric fans in the room. There are eye masks and earplugs at the head of the bed, but I don’t need them at all. When I woke up in the morning, the sun was shining, but I was not woken up by the sun. It is recommended to stay for one night in the season of the aurora!
