A short walk from train station. Room size okay.. Comfortable bed and good breakfast. Reception is on the top floor of the building... Good view. The outdoor platform provided a good view of the train station and track. Hotel provide train watching schedule too.

The hotel is old and the room is clean but not well cleaned especially the corners of the room. The room is old and dull and the toilet smells bad. The balcony is covered with bamboo screen which make hard to see the outside. We can see the balcony is not well cleaned and the rooftop of the building is not well cleaned, too. If they clean the balcony and rooftop it will make a big difference. The fence at the balcony is worn out if they repainted it,it will be very beautiful seeing from the inside. I dont care if the building is old but they should keep it well cleaned and more presentable and im sure people will come again. The food is good and the bathing facilities is also good but its too hot no air at all, i didnt stay long because i cant breath i wish they open the window for fresh air to come. the atmosphere from the window the dried mold of the rooftop and the worn out of the balcony fence should be fix.The place is very quiet and you can really relax.The main entrance and ground floor is renovated and its nice and modern. The service is good too but the clerks are not lively they should be more cheerful. If the room is not dull and the balcony and rooftop is clean i want to stay again but sorry i wont stay here again. Yamashiro Onsen, the hot spring fruit is really extraordinary, the whole body is super smooth after soaking in it~ In addition to the hot spring facilities in the room, the hotel also has two large baths, each with an open-air hot spring, which is very comfortable~ Maybe because it is before the Japanese New Year, there are not many people , the employee said that Japan started to have consecutive holidays in a few days, and it was full every day. The hotel has its own corner, and the environment really has a garden style. The air is very fresh after the rain, which makes people relax. The only drawback is that the taste of the food is average and not amazing. However, when I stayed for two days in a row, I was very considerate and provided a completely different breakfast. Dinner~

First of all, I have to mention checkin. Because I didn't look at the information carefully, I arrived at Neon Hotel about 9 pm. After I didn't know how to enter. Haocai met some guests and told us before I knew that I had to go to the Hotel Kanazawa next to the train station to do Checkin first. They will give you Neon Hotel's Access code . Enter the hotel and room. The room is clean and tidy. The space is enough for 4 of us. It is comfortable. There is a washing machine in the room to wash clothes. Very convenient. Hotel location is a bit difficult to find, but of course, it can be found by Google map god. There is no parking lot nearby. It takes about 5 minutes to walk. The hotel is about 7 minutes from the train station. It is convenient.

Very neat and clean place. The host Bungo was patient and detailed, provided recommendations to sightseeing spots and even helped me to reserve a visit that needed pre booking. I like his thoughtful touch of bookmarking the restaurants on the map and sharing them with guests. The location was roughly 15min by foot to the station but it could also depend on the weather. Western showers available all hours and a private Japanese bath in the evening and nighttime slot. Close to the Omicho market and the castle park. I tend to be someone that leaves behind something every place I go and they helped me to stop that. Thank you Bungo and the family!

Hotel is in a great location, across from Omicho market, above a department store, nearby a bus stop and less than 15min by foot to the train station. The room was adequate, a compact bathroom, simply had all necessities. I like the different pillow types, you can use the soft one, the firm one, or both! The towel was hand towel size but I think it’s efficient in a way, just perfect for the rack designed for it. I was comparing it to the bath mat and that was when I found a hair that didn’t belong to me. The view out was nice, as was the lounge at the same floor as the front desk. It had free drinks like coffee, juice in the evening period.

Parking onsite and is just outside the hotel. This makes it very convenient. Better to reserve to secure a lot when booking this hotel. Everything was good. Only down side is the air conditioning system in the rooms is centralised and cannot be controlled. When we stayed there for 2 nights, they had already switched from air conditioning to heating the rooms. The day we arrived, it was warm so the room was hot. We turned off the heater and opened the windows to let in some cool fresh air. Fortunately the 2 side panels of the windows could be opened. We slept through the night with opened windows.

Facilities: A very typical youth hostel. The single pod is very comfortable. There is also a large bathhouse where you can take a bath. It is very comfortable to take a bath after a day of walking. Hygiene: Hygiene is very clean. Youth hostels in Japan are very clean! Environment: Very good. There are simple facilities in the public area and you can heat up food. The location is far from Kanazawa Station and requires a bus, but it is very close to the attractions and on a very busy street!
