The room is Japanese tatami, which is quite spacious for a family. It is about 10 minutes' walk from Aso Station, and it is very convenient to take the bus to Mount Aso.

Japanese hotels are so expensive on weekends that it hurts my heart! This hotel has a good location and a good price. It looks a bit old, and there are many Japanese guests staying there. The facilities are neither good nor bad. The advantage is that the location is good. It is next to the busiest commercial street in Kumamoto. There are trams to Kumamoto Castle and Suizenji Temple, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. There is also horse meat curry rice in the evening, around 9 o'clock in the evening. I have never eaten horse meat before. It's my first time trying it. It's a little sour and the meat is a little rough, but free is the king.

I stayed here for three days and two nights. Check-in is early, so it's easy to leave your luggage and move around. The room is clean, spacious, and easy to use. There is a large supermarket nearby and it's also close to the airport, so the location is good. However, I had a lot of trash, so when I asked if I could throw it away at any time, they were clearly reluctant and didn't seem to be happy.

5 minutes walk from Sakuramachi Bus Terminal? It's inside Sunroad, so it was nice that I could go around without an umbrella even though it rained. There's a Seven at the entrance of Sunroad, so I was able to withdraw cash on the way to my accommodation, and there's a Family Mart next to the hotel. There's a Starbucks and a McDonald's to the left of the entrance, and there's another large Seven. There's also Ichiran on the way to Don Quijote, and if you go down a little further from Donki toward Tsuruya, there's a COCOSA B1 supermarket that's open until 11 p.m. It was my first time in Kumamoto, but the location was really good, and it was easy to get to Kumamoto Station by bus terminal platform 3 or by tram. I left around 8:30 on the day I went home, went to Kumamoto Medical Center, went to Kumamoto Castle at 9 a.m., and looked around the 6th floor of the castle tower and came down to Sakuramachi. Checkout was at 11 a.m., so I was able to check out at 10:20 a.m. with plenty of time. If I visit Kumamoto again, I think I'll stay here. Location, cleanliness, and kindness are all perfect. It's a shame that there is no hot spring in the facility, but the advantages make up for it^^

I stayed at this hotel twice. The second time (this booking) we had a room on the older (?) wing and it was almost twice the size of the first one. So for this review I will only share feedback on this “older” room. This room was big and thus good for us as we had 2 large luggage and more space in the room allowed us to open and pack our luggages with ease. The bathroom was large with the large traditional bathtub. Toilet had bidet and etc but lacked heating which made it very cold in the winter. Basin tap was still the old turn types which was not eco friendly as it’s more difficult to shut it off. Location was just opposite the train station which was excellent. But the nearest convenience store is also only at the train station which is about a 5-7mins walk away. Breakfast was curated to suit the Japanese palette more and ends at 9a.m which is really way too early!! We left something behind in the hotel but they managed to send the item back to us at our new hotel (still in Japan) which was highly appreciated. Despite a few minor shortcomings listed above, the pros still outweigh the cons and I’ll definitely be happy to stay here again.

Hotels that only want to serve tour groups do not want to accommodate independent travelers. We arrived at 2:30pm and asked if we could check in half an hour early. The employee pointed out that check-in could only be done at 3pm. Then we asked if we could store our luggage, but the employee said she couldn't find our order. She was willing to look for our order only after we showed the trip.com order page. The usage hours of the private hot spring are from 3pm to 9am. We went to the front desk at 10pm to ask about the location of the private hot spring, and she directly told us ”no”. After asking again, we were allowed to enter and let us leave at 12am. Check out time was 10am. We felt very sorry that we didn't leave until 10:08am. They called us 4 times during this period and the attitude was very bad. The employees don't speak English at all, and they won't actively help solve problems. They will just reject you directly, making people feel that you shouldn't bother them, and there is no one on duty at the front desk for a long time.

This hotel is situated on a spacious property, secluded from the town center and shops. While it features public baths and an on-site restaurant, The dinner and breakfast offered a delightful blend of Western and Japanese dishes, typical of most Japanese hotels. Our twin room, though a bit compact, provided a comfortable overnight stay. All amenities provided were satisfactory for a one-night stay, leaving no room for complaints. As most establishments in the vicinity close after 5 PM (except for convenience stores), there isn't much to do at the hotel besides enjoying the onsen. Therefore, be prepared for an early night in.

Breakfast and dinner are both provided by the hotel. Dinner is served in a separate room, and breakfast is served in another public room. There is a unique menu for dinner, with staff introducing each dish. There happened to be a few people who knew Chinese when I checked in. The staff introduced it, the dishes were rich, and I was very satisfied. When you have a meal, the staff will go into the room and lay out tatami mattresses. There are no private hot spring baths, there are open-air public baths. There are only two independent indoor hot spring baths for the use of the entire hotel. There are two keys during the period. After the guests return the keys, they can then take them out and use the independent private baths. Fengli, unfortunately there is no reservation service, so I don’t know when other guests will return their keys. 

We originally booked a small double room, but upon arrival the front desk staff upgraded us to a large room for free, which we were very grateful for. The hotel's dinner is a barbecue buffet with a lot of meat and wine choices, but it is a bit smoky and could be improved. We recommend that hotels provide pick-up service from Aso Station

Like the onsen in the hotel; onsen water is good and big enough for 6-7 person to use. Japanese breakfast served by staff was quite substantial and tasty. The room that we stayed is quiet and faces mountain and park. Bathroom a little small but clean. There wasn’t any wardrobe but there were hooks on the wall and hangers were provided.

The waiters are very friendly and the environment is quiet. There are four independent private baths, three indoor and one outdoor. The food is rich. The surrounding environment of Aso City is relatively rural, far away from the hustle and bustle, and it is a good place to take a vacation.

The dinner food is very rich and fresh, the breakfast is as delicious, there is Asu Shrine nearby, and the private hot spring is very enjoyable. Definitely come again next time.

Better to rent a car to get there, so convenience is not somebody who books this place should look for. For relaxing purpose, this is a nice area with lots of green, the down side is it is next to a golf course, so there were sounds of tree-cutting and a bunch of golfers practicing their putts on the practice putting green next to the site for trailers. I am not a big fan of that. Service is closed to non-existent, there were staffs who helped checking us in, they were friendly and did their job explaining all the essential functions of the trailer. They had to use the translator machine to communicate, they were very patient. I can't rate the service too high because after checking in we were pretty much on our own. So not something you should look for if service is a top priority. Best part is there is an onsen next to the site that offers family bath, that's memorable.

This Spring Festival, I took my parents to live in this hotel in Kurokawa Onsen. I booked it at the last minute and found that there was a vacant room. I changed to this hotel at the last minute. It was not a wrong choice at all! The service really warmed my heart! Not only was the hotel's hot spring very comfortable! The room reservation included breakfast for three people, free evening drinks, and free pick-up and drop-off service at the station. In addition, before the trip, I contacted the customer service to book a buffet dinner of 400 per person, with fresh sashimi and beef Xiapu Xiapu, which was very suitable for parents! There is also an observatory on the top floor of the hotel, but the weather was too cold and I went too late to observe the stars. It is worth mentioning that! ! My mobile phone was left in the room when I checked out. When I contacted me, I had already arrived in Fukuoka, and even flew back to China from Nagasaki the next morning! The hotel was very considerate and efficient. It contacted the Kuroneko Express to help me deliver it to the hotel in Nagasaki immediately! It was still free! ! Very considerate and touching!

This hotel is a standard Japanese inn. The whole room is about 100 square meters, with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and private soup room. According to the administrator, the room can accommodate up to five people. The kitchen can cook by yourself. There are microwave ovens, induction cookers, coffee machines, pots and pans. The bus arrives, and it is only 90 meters away from Menglongdan. You can go in and contact the waiter. There will be a van to take you to Menglongdan Huabo. The distance between the two sides is very close. There are cars to take you to dinner time and bathing in the evening. Breakfast and dinner are kaiseki cuisine, with many varieties, which is worth experiencing. I wrote so much mainly because I asked Ctrip before. The so-called AI knows nothing about anything. I hope it will be helpful to everyone.

For some reason, the information about this hotel is so limited on Ctrip. If you want to choose a room with indoor and outdoor private hot springs, this is a great choice. The location is not in the town center, but it takes more than ten minutes to walk. There is a car to take you there, and the service is very good. Most rooms in the town center are small in size, and they are not likely to have private hot springs or courtyards. The rooms here are all large. We stayed in a double-story room. The first floor has two private hot springs inside and outside, which are very elegant. There is also a massage chair and a bathroom. The second floor is a tatami bedroom, including a reception area and a small bathroom. The area is very large and the price-performance ratio is good. There is also a large room on the first floor with a private hot spring, which should be a more comfortable choice for living. I want to complain to Ctrip about the food. I have replied in the final confirmation email of the reservation that I do not eat horse, beef and mutton, but I found that I did not receive any information from Ctrip when I arrived at the store. I could only temporarily change to tofu and duck meat, which affected the experience. It rained heavily on the day of check-out. The staff did not hold an umbrella themselves but carried our luggage and held an umbrella for us in the heavy rain. This professional attitude deserves praise. We went on a family trip and stayed at Dream Dragon on the coldest day during the Spring Festival. I stayed here once more than 5 years ago and was very impressed. It is a pure Japanese style, and the dinner and breakfast are so rich that you can't help but lean on the wall. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and quiet, and the water quality of the hot spring is excellent, but remember to bring towels from the room, there are no towels in the hot spring. The snacks are delicious. The puffs and coffee shops in Kurokawa Town are very good. There are century-old shops everywhere. It is a quaint place.

What a perfect service with nice and kind owners. The owner can pick you up at the bus stop for free if you want. The price of stay was cheap and reasonable and they provide you with Japanese traditional style meal with reasonable prices as well. I would recommend this Ryokan. I wish I could visit this again.

The hotel is very grand. I chose a random room and was assigned a large room. When I arrived at the hotel, I learned that the room rate included a room and two meals. There was also the Jixiang Hot Spring (five outdoor pools) 1 kilometer away. I had to soak in it before dinner. One, the staff told me that the meal time was 7:30, and it was nearly 8:00 when I entered. It turned out that the buffet dinner was only at 9:00, so I was in a hurry. The hot spring in the hotel is also very good. The small wooden bridge and the stream near the hotel are good places to take pictures.

Lonely Paradise! This is not many hotels around that offer single rates. None of the reviews is for the single and double price difference. There is no shuttle service. The guests who come are basically self-driving, and take a taxi to the bus station for 1,100 yen. The perfect mix and match of Japanese style, the quality is hidden in the details, everything from faucets to bedding, and I want to move home. What makes people in Japan unbelievable is the abuse of disposable chopsticks, even the famous Michelin Sanxing Junoi. You can spend two meals without using heavy bamboo chopsticks, especially for dinner. The fine grip is perfect, and you have the urge to take away. You must order two meals. On this morning's hike, the one kilometer country road is only This hotel has nothing. By the way, Ctrip's name is wrong. It's Huaxin instead of Huaxin. The word of mind can go a long way. The quality of the food is high, the amount of refinement is small, and it is full. Comfortable, the room has private soup, but it's too hot. The public soup pond went to the three times for exclusive treatment. The well-cut branches and leaves contrasted with the outdoor hot soup pond. The area was just enough for one person to lie down and drunk. Excellent service by the staffs! Very warm and welcoming. It was raining heavily that day, but one of the staff helped to wipe down our luggage when it wasn't necessary and helped to bring it up to the room as we were too early for check-in. When we came back, the luggages were near a heater for quick drying... just a neat detail that we very much appreciated. The dinner and breakfast were one of our most delicious and memorable meals in Japan. Words are not enough to describe it! The outdoor hot spring doesn't have much a view, but it was still nice! Hope I am able to come back and enjoy the ryokan experience again!

The hotel is located on a plateau plain, which is very affected by the weather. There is often heavy fog and hazy phenomena, and the scenery may not necessarily be good. However, the air is very fresh and the temperature is perfect. In addition, the hotel facilities are good and the food is very diverse and attractive. The room is so big and convenient for picking up luggage. Because the location is not very convenient, it is only recommended for self-driving travelers.
