The room is clean and sanitary, with complete facilities. The location is good and the transportation is very convenient. Convenience stores and drug stores are nearby, making it easy to buy items. There is a commercial street nearby, so dining is also convenient.

Strategic location with reasonable price. However, the room was super small (well, Japanese style 😅) can’t open luggages at all. They served free drinks at lounge 😍
Porta Inn Bentencho

Osaka Bay
The location is very good. You can get to the hotel within 5 minutes from Shimobentencho Station. There is a 7-11 on the corner and FamilyMart at the intersection. There is a yakiniku restaurant nearby with good service and delicious meat. You must try it if you have the chance! Although it is not a direct connection to Universal City and requires a transfer, you can just get off the bus and wait for the bus on the opposite side. It is not difficult!
Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi
There are 3 subway stations around the hotel location, all 10 minutes' walk away, and there are many transportation options. The room condition is consistent with the hotel display pictures. 20 beds per floor. The actual situation of the capsule hotel is that it is small, but the overall health condition is very good. There are public showers and toilets, which are very hygienic and don't seem to be used much. What's great is that there is a public ”hot spring” area on the top floor where you can bathe and soak. For backpackers, it is a comfortable way to relax after a day's walking. Finally, the only thing I am not used to is the sound insulation. There is no sound insulation at all. I can hear clearly the sound of someone making a bag on the same floor. With so many people, there are sounds from time to time. And the people who check in may be very late, so once woken up, it will be difficult to fall asleep. For people who are sensitive to sound, it is better to choose capsule hotels with caution.
AB Hotel Osaka Sakaisuji Honmachi
4.3/5264 Reviews
Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi
The location of the hotel is rather good and the guests are convenient to go to different parts of Osaka through transferring various lines of the subway. Besides, the payment for its room service together with the breakfast is relatively low compared with other hotels in Osaka. The major guests of the hotel are local Japanese so the breakfast is a bit Japanese style with the supplement of some western-style bread. The staff of the hotel can speak little English therefore they hardly have closer communication with the foreign guests. The hotel cleaning only does once a week. Because the hotel did not have 24-hour front desk service, it caused the problem of security. The period of my stay in that hotel was 6th to 11th June 2024. On 10th June, I packed my baggage at night and unfortunately found that my i-pad had been missing. Since there was no staff on duty after 11pm, I could not get immediate help that night. The next morning about 5:30am, I went out (the door of the hotel had kept open) to the nearest police station and reported about my i-pad being stolen in that hotel. After completing the procedure, the police gave me a recording document and I showed it to a on-duty hotel staff afterwards. But at first we did not communicate effectively. Later she photocopied the document and insisted that the hotel cleaner would not steal. As I had to take the flight leaving at noon 12:50am, I just finished the check-out procedure and eagerly left. I did not think the hotel and the police would follow up my case and would do anything for me. I felt very disappointed at them. I hoped that the would-be guests should be smarter so as to avoid my misfortune.

I booked room with 2 double beds. Room is spacious and clean. I like how cosy the bathroom is. I also appreciate the complimentary hot soba noodles soup that our family can enjoy every night. Will certainly stay here again when I return to Osaka. :)
First Cabin Kansai Airport
4.6/5508 Reviews
my flight from seoul to osaka was delayed by 2.5 hours, and public transport wouldn’t have brought me to my share house in the middle of the night, so i opted for the first cabin which was located directly at the airport. i’ve never been to japan before, so finding it was a BIT difficult, but i managed just fine. the staff was super nice, very friendly and welcoming. i was directly brought to my room, given free toiletries, wifi access, and a charger for my electronics. the cleanliness of the cabins (especially the bathroom!) was amazing. it was my first time in a japanese bathroom and it completely exceeded my expectations. the shower was probably the best shower of my life — super soft, clean, and just amazing — and the products provided smelled really good. it was super quiet for the whole time, which was very appreciated. the staff also spoke english so i could ask for anything anytime. the few things i’d criticise personally: - the cabin wasn’t really private. it had a curtain that you could roll down, but not all the way. the cabins are placed directly next to each other, so there was no option to speak to someone on the phone while in bed. the bed took up the whole cabin, so you couldn’t fit in your luggage, but there was a separate space for that. i think it still was very nice, because there was a lounge area where you could get food or drinks and call your relatives. the cabin area was strictly quiet. - on trip.com i paid about $59(?), and on the site directly it’d have cost me about $70. for a single night with just a bed and half privacy… i think both offers are a bit pricey for one night but it was fine. overall 8/10
HOTEL LiVEMAX Osaka-Yodoyabashi
4.2/5539 Reviews
Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi
The hotel is about a 10-15 minutes walk from the nearest station. It is in a very quiet area. The room is spacious, unlike many other hotels that are like similar to this one in Japan, I could move the baby stroller in my room easily. I was a bit shocked to see a big glass stain on the table, I am used to a very clean room in Japanese hotels, but the rest of the room was very clean. The breakfast was Japanese style, not bad, but I prefer Western style, so I ate most of it for lunch. The TV was very big and there is a small water cooker in the room, although no coffee or tea bags. There is free filtered water near the reception.
