Apartment-style hotel, no washing machine, all facilities are a bit outdated. The service staff are very enthusiastic, the environment is good, and it is very close to the beach. It is a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset. The nearby town is worth visiting

This conversion from a convent has been superbly done, and the result is an elegant hotel full of character and charm. The attractive front facade doesn’t mislead, nor does the wonderful courtyard at the rear which is a great place for a drink. The interior and our room were in keeping with the external impression, and were both comfortable and interesting. There is a tranquil and welcoming ambience, helped by the very personable and professional team. We had a very good breakfast, and the bar was reasonably priced - there are a lot of really nice communal areas for a relaxing drink especially in the corridors overlooking the courtyard. The location is quiet but convenient, all in all a lovely hotel.

We had deliberately chosen to make a smaller hotel as the end / last stop of our trip to Portugal. Maybe the contrast to the other hotels before it was too big, but we cannot join 100% of the other reviews. We were quite late - at 18:00 - and were therefore a little exhausted. The way there is adventured (and this information is urgently on the homepage!!). We were happy that we had a mini SUV as rental car, but when it rains there is probably not feasible the street. Specifically in the evening it became even more difficult. And yes you have to keep driving off again in the evening because you've been completely divorced and the first rooms in Millefort are (about 15 min.). We were welcomed by a very nice lady and have tried to understand with a few English brocks. Login was then via mobile phone and a colleague in one of the other hotels. The first impression of the room - clean, but it smells muffy. The outer area slightly down (table broken, the wall broken). The bathroom is very old and the bathtub is flack. There is no air conditioning, but only a ventilator. The large refrigerator is browning in front of itself. When we go to sleep, we noticed that the double bed is not only uncomfortable but also very small. According to estimates, the bed is 1.40 x 1.90. The single bed for our daughter was much longer. Beside it called up to about midnight a dog. So sleep quality is rather poor. Breakfast next day is familiar and has tasted well. The possibility of pressing orange juice itself was especially great for our daughter. Unfortunately, it wasn't all that great experience in all and we wouldn't do it again!

We stayed here for one night on our way to Lisboa. A very nice and friendly hotel. The front staff were excellent. Dinner was really good. André is an excellent waiter who really knows how to give a real treat. We can highly recommend this hotel and restaurant which is situated not far from the motorway A2.

The hotel, and its twin, are in a good location overlooking the river. It has a functional feel, it could perhaps do with some more colour, but our room was large and comfortable - and had a huge terrace with expansive views. We had a good breakfast, and an excellent outside bar features in the communal area bridging the hotel with its neighbour the Museu.

Check-in - - - good luck. The two addresses for checking in took us on a frustrating hour and a half journey. First to a closed up office in town. I was lucky to run into a nice local resident who helped me find the second address I was given. This took me to a beach restaurant. The manager there directed me to a hotel about a kilometre away where check-in was completed. When I told them about the address problems, they said it was because we booked through a third party - - - I said that they need to communicate with the third party better if they are allowing them to book their rooms. Whatever - - - just give me my key. With check-in complete, we drove to the accommodation. Poor directions from the hotel but we found our way to a pot-hole ridden gravel road down a steep embankment. We almost turned around as we were unsure if it was the correct road. Finally, the room. It was clean, but felt ”old”. Nothing updated except the windows - - - old kitchen, old bathroom, old bedrooms. Mediocre at best. This place could be ”so much more” with its location.

A localização é imbatível, poder fazer tudo a pé no centro da vila é sem dúvida o ponto forte deste hotel. Não tem estacionamento, mas no final da rua tem um largo grande onde se pode deixar o carro sem problema. O quarto é pequeno mas tem tudo o que é preciso para uma estadia de curta/média duração, o colchão e as almofadas eram surpreendentemente confortáveis! O ponto fraco do quarto é a insonorização quase inexistente. Ouve-se tudo o que se passa no corredor, como se nem houvesse paredes, e para os outros quartos também se ouve conversas e até a água na casa de banho. Não nos cruzámos com muitos funcionários e os poucos com que cruzámos não eram muito simpáticos. A recepção estava muitas vezes sem ninguém para atender. No geral, para o valor pago parece-me uma relação preço-qualidade equilibrada.
