We went during the off-season, so there were no swallows and therefore no swallow droppings. There weren't many tourists either, so we could stroll around at our own pace without the crowds, which was quite nice. The roads were well-maintained, and the natural scenery hadn't suffered much damage. Light pollution and noise were relatively mild, much better than other caves I've visited before. Two hours is enough to explore just the main cave. There's also a dry cave behind it, which might take another few tens of minutes. There's also a cluster of buildings on the hilltop, possibly a Taoist temple, but we didn't go.
