A must-see attraction on this trip to the UK was the Royal Observatory Greenwich. First, we visited the museum to learn about the observatory's history, then headed to the outdoor Prime Meridian. Having learned about Greenwich Mean Time and the Prime Meridian from junior high school textbooks, I finally saw them with my own eyes. Standing on the Prime Meridian, I used my phone's built-in compass as a reference point to take a commemorative photo.

Revisiting the Natural History Museum in London The Natural History Museum in London, formerly the Natural History Department of the British Museum, officially became independent in 1963. Climbing the magnificent spiral staircase, the mineral exhibition area on the right side of the second floor resembles a subterranean palace. Among the over 5,000 mineral specimens, the most stunning is the 3-meter-high amethyst wall—a perfectly cut amethyst cave from Brazil, shimmering with a dreamy purple glow under the light. Here, nature is the greatest artist: 1️⃣ The legendary Hope Blue Diamond (replica), this 45.52-carat blue diamond carries a cursed legend. 2️⃣ The 563-carat "Princess of Brazil" topaz, like a beam of frozen sunlight. 3️⃣ The pigeon's blood rubies from Burma, each one a frozen flame. Most magical are the fluorescent mineral displays: the stones, gray under ordinary light, suddenly burst into neon colors under ultraviolet light! The meteorite exhibition hall houses the world's most complete collection of meteorite specimens. The most precious of these is the 4.5-ton Bakubiri meteorite, discovered in Namibia, Africa in 1902. Local tribes used it to forge spearheads. Touching these rocks from outer space allows you to feel the mysterious pulse of the universe. -Don't forget to look up at the ceiling during your visit; the intricately carved botanical patterns are also part of the exhibits. - Free guided tours are often offered on weekend afternoons; check the official website for specific times. - From crystal palaces deep within the Earth to stardust gifts from the vast universe, this museum offers a glimpse into nature's most extravagant treasures. Here, every stone tells the story of Earth's 4.6 billion years.

I had an amazing experience at Chessington World of Adventures! The rides were thrilling, especially the Mandrill Mayhem roller coaster, which was definitely my favourite! The Gruffalo River Ride was perfect for the whole family. We explored the zoo and aquarium, where we got to see some incredible animals up close, and the Sea Life Center had an underwater tunnel that was really cool. The staff were also friendly and very helpful. Overall, it was a fantastic day filled with fun and laughter

Good aquarium in a prime location. I thought it was a bit too small for my liking, there are larger Sea Life aquariums out there. But good variety of fish and great for kids

Greenwich is not only home to the Prime Meridian at the Greenwich Observatory, but also Greenwich Park and the Royal Naval Museum. Greenwich is a small town in the suburbs of London, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of London. Transportation: Take the Uber Boat from London; it takes about half an hour and runs frequently, making it a worthwhile destination.

The museum is hidden in a white building with a long history. It was founded in 1857. There are many large power machines on the first floor. Six large steam engines perform twice a day. Unfortunately, we didn't catch up. The second-floor lobby exhibits steel industry, glass industry machine tools and tools, as well as textile machinery, typewriters and printing machinery. Further up, there is a ship history exhibition, an aviation exhibition hall with real airplanes and rockets, a computer exhibition hall, and content related to optics, electromagnetism, earthquake observation, communications and aviation, as well as medical history collections. We were dazzled by it all and felt that we had too little time and it was totally insufficient.
