【Alyosha Statue】 Alyosha is a gray concrete soldier statue located on a hill north of Murmansk. The monument was built to commemorate the heroic struggle and perseverance of the people of Murmansk during World War II. It is 40 meters high. The flowers placed under the monument are covered with white snow, and the exposed red is particularly bright. The ever-burning fire on the ground in front of the monument spews out from a large five-pointed star. The blazing flame is not afraid of the cold and beats tenaciously. It is a historical attraction. Friends who are interested in history can come and see it. It was indeed quite shocking in that era, but now for those of us born after 1995, even though it is a nuclear-powered icebreaker, it is still not as good as the 05 destroyer in my mind. 😀 My humble opinion

[Sami Folk Village] The Sami people, one of the oldest indigenous peoples in Russia, live in the tundra area 110 kilometers from Murmansk. Most of this ethnic group lives in Sweden, Finland and northern Norway. Basically, they are all in the Nordic region. The total number of Sami people in Russia now does not exceed 2,000. They wear traditional Sami costumes, speak Sami language, eat the purest venison in the forest, squirrel meat is stuffed into sausages, foxes are kept as pets, and reindeer sleds are their main means of transportation. The Sami people are rich in fish, fur, deer bone carvings, river pearls, and the most famous iron products. The most convenient way is to sign up for a one-day tour group, which is about 3,000 to 5,000 rubles, which is 300 to 500 yuan. The owner of the inn you live in can also help you form a group and bargain. It takes about two hours to drive more than 120 kilometers. You can feed reindeer, ride snowmobiles and sleds, and have a simple meal. Address: Saamskaya Baza "Olen'ya 51"
