Burgers’ Zoo 🇳🇱🦒 A zoo that feels like exploring multiple worlds in one place. If you're traveling in the Netherlands and have some extra time, I highly recommend adding Burgers’ Zoo in Arnhem to your itinerary. 🦁🌿 This zoo differs from typical zoos because it's designed with Ecodisplays, simulating large-scale ecosystems, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of each area firsthand, rather than just looking at animals in cages. There are various zones: Bush (tropical rainforest) 🌴, Desert (desert), Ocean (underwater world), Safari (savanna), Rimba (Asian rainforest), and a large Mangrove area indoors (Burger’s Zoo). My favorite part was the Bush zone; it felt like walking in a real forest with its humidity, sounds, and atmosphere. The Ocean zone also has a large underwater world where you can see marine animals 🐠🦈. The zoo covers 45 hectares, so if you want to see everything, I recommend allocating several hours. Walking at a leisurely pace is much more enjoyable (Burger’s Zoo). It's also a great place to bring children. Because it has a playground, restaurants, and rest areas along the way, it's perfect for a family trip! 🚍 Getting there: From Arnhem Central Station, you can take bus number 3 to Burgers’ Zoo.
