Today I drove from Broadway in the Cotswolds to Bath and stopped at Snowshill Manor, a Tudor manor house once owned by the English eccentric Charles Paget Wade. He used it to house his collection of thousands of objects and left it all to the National Trust in 1951.
I found it interesting and charming. Henry VIII took the house from the Catholic Church, and it has many stories and ghosts.
