My First Impressions of Quy Nhon
A couple of days ago, we arrived in Quy Nhon by Vietnamese train 🚂
Coming here, we had a lot of mixed expectations. Some people told us the city was similar to Nha Trang, but that’s not the case at all. Compared to Nha Trang, this city feels very spacious and has its own unique atmosphere.
The locals here aren't quite used to tourists yet, and they are incredibly warm toward foreigners. So many people say hello 😍 and ask questions that you honestly end up feeling like a celebrity.
It’s a great place to see authentic Vietnamese traditions, how people organize their daily lives and what their homes look like. We noticed that the ground floors usually feature heavy wooden furniture and a large aquarium; I’m guessing those are seen as symbols of wealth here.
The Food 🥘 here
If you aren't used to eating local cuisine, you’ll have to adapt in Quy Nhon. For now, there are very few "tourist-friendly" international restaurants.
Some might see this as a downside. Others will embrace it, lose their fear, and start trying something new.
I believe that by visiting cities like this, you truly get to know the culture of the country and its people.

🏛️ These Ancient Cham Towers Are Right Inside Quy Nhon
“You don’t need to leave the city to see one of Quy Nhon’s most interesting historical sites.”@WithMe_Travel · 9 days ago
We looked at the Champa towers, built, if I'm not mistaken, in the 12th-13th centuries. We were particularly struck by the brickwork; you can't see the mortar between the bricks, and yet they've been standing for eight centuries. We didn't go inside because we were wearing shorts and Dasha was wearing a tank top—it's not allowed. We respect the laws of other countries. By the way, the cocktails inside aren't great, so don't buy them. But it's worth a visit, unless you're visiting another city in Vietnam where there are larger buildings. The third photo says, "Go further, pay the entrance fee, it's not expensive..." Let's be honest, we couldn't find it, so we just went for free. We already visited the museum in Da Nang (entrance fee: 60,000 dong). It has statues and photos of these towers. The museum is considered the largest in the world on the history of the Champa people, but we didn't really like it. The towers themselves are beautiful and definitely worth seeing.
Have a nice trip everyone, give it a like, thank you )
