Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare

Large families traveling with Renfe in Spain can benefit from 20% discounts for general category families and 50% for special category families on most train services, including AVE and Larga Distancia. These offers exclude AVE International, Avant, and Cercanías services. For single-parent families, discounts apply only to Rodalies trains in Catalonia with the appropriate documentation from the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Renfe Children Fare

Renfe offers a 40% discount on ticket prices for children aged 4 to 13. These children are allowed to select seats on AVE, AVE International, and Avant trains, and they can make changes or request refunds based on the ticket type, which may involve a fee. Elige Confort

Elige Confort costs a bit more than Elige Estándar. The notable difference is the wider seats and offer more leg room as they are XL Confort seats.

The most expensive fare, Prémium, comes with unlimited free changes and refunds, and XL Confort Seating.
