There are many options to get from the Figueres city centre to Figueres Vilafant train station. The station is only 0.74 miles (1.5 km) from the city centre, so it’s easily walkable and will allow you to see some of the attractions in the city. Walking to the train station in Figueres will take around 15min and there are also plenty of restaurants and shops along the way if you want to get a meal before your train departs. If you do walk, the easiest route is via Carrer de l’Empordà/N-260. You can also take the AVE train or L54 bus line to get there in 10min. Taxis are available in the city, but it’s much cheaper to use public transport. If you take a taxi, be aware that traffic can add to your travel time, especially during weekends or holidays. You should plan to arrive at the station at least 45min before your train is scheduled to depart
