
Yuncheng Dongyue Temple is a national key cultural relic protection unit. The founding date is unknown. According to the Qing Dynasty stele, it existed during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty. It was rebuilt from the 28th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1291) to the first year of the Dade period (1297). It was rebuilt many times in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings include Feiyun Tower, Wumen, Xiandian, Xiangting, Dongyue Great Emperor Hall, and Yanwang Hall. "Feiyun Tower" is a pure wooden structure and is a treasure among Chinese architectural pavilions. Shanxi is known as the North Tower (Yingxian Wooden Tower) and the South Tower (Wanrong Feiyun Tower). Feiyun Tower is square in plan, with three floors open and five floors hidden, and double eaves with four drips of water. Thick brick walls are built on the left and right of the ground floor, and the front and back are penetrated. The four central columns reach the top of the building. The 32 wooden columns around it form a chessboard pattern, with a width and depth of five rooms. The second and third floors are equipped with flat seats, and each side has a porch, with pediments facing outward.

Dongyue Temple is located at the east gate of Xitang Ancient Town, Haoshanju, Zhejiang Province. It was first built in the Song Dynasty and has a mountain gate with a stage, front hall and back hall. It was rebuilt in 1925, and only the mountain gate and front hall remain. The mountain gate is a wooden structure with side wings on both sides. The front of the front hall has a single-eaved hip roof. They are all single-eaved hip roofs, all with yin-yang tiles.
Dongyue Temple is located on the north side of Beigao Peak, and the scenery is pretty good.
