A place of great historical significance. You can learn about medieval castles, prisons, weapons and royal secret places, and see many royal jewels of England. It is a world heritage site that is worth checking in. It will take most of the day to take a closer look. You have to go to places that the tour groups don’t check in by yourself.
The Tower of London is an ancient castle with a very large interior. We spent 5 hours visiting it with a Chinese audio guide. The British royal crown is stored here and it is really beautiful, but it is a pity that we cannot take photos of it. There are some free-roaming ravens raised in the castle, which are considered the castle's mascots and are quite interesting.

The Tower of London has a long history and mystery! It was once a royal palace, a prison, and stored many precious treasures. Today, you can see ancient buildings and thick city walls here, as if you can feel the precipitation of history. Especially the stories of celebrities who have been imprisoned are very attractive. Moreover, the scenery of the Tower of London is also very good, and the surrounding green space and rivers complement each other. In general, coming to the Tower of London, you can not only learn about history, but also enjoy the beautiful scenery. It is worth a visit!
The Tower of London is a landmark building in London, located near the Tower Bridge, on the north bank of the Thames. The Tower of London is not a single tower, but a group of towers, with a white tower in Normandy as its center. The towers are not only castles, fortresses, but also palaces, and contain observatories, churches, prisons and other buildings. After historical evolution, the tower buildings that can be seen today show the architectural styles and cultural influences of different periods in Britain. One of the main functions of the Tower of London today is its tourism value. In the cultural landscape, human history plays a major role. Approaching, walking away, walking in, walking away, if history is changing around you, and if the Thames is flowing endlessly. Think about it, there are many legends about the Tower of London, including those bloody robberies. I leaned against the railing and looked at the water, reciting something: … There was a catastrophe, and the storm was settled that year, the three souls and seven spirits were scattered (Heaven, Earth, and Fate, anciently known as Taiguang, Shuangling, and Youjing) Heaven returned to the heavenly road, earth returned to the underworld, and people wandered in the cemetery Until reincarnation in this life, the three souls reunited Taoists say that illness is the dispersion of the spirit, and medicine can be used to prevent it from dispersing When a person is about to die, the seven spirits will disperse first, and then the three souls will leave (Heaven knows and earth knows: you and I will separate first, and then the spirit will disperse In the previous life until the separation, I always regarded you as my only medicine And the moment of reunion, I knew that in this life, the wind is your only) …
The Tower of London is an iconic building located on the banks of the Thames. It is a witness to British history and has witnessed countless changes of royal power. From a fortress to an armory, to a treasury, a mint, a palace, an observatory, a refuge and a prison, it has played multiple roles. Today, the tower not only guards the royal treasures, but also displays the weight of history to the public.
Really enjoyed the Tower of London and learning about the history, people and executions. We got in as part of a package deal so it worked out really well price wise. They make you wear a mask but that's to be expected with Covid-19 happening. Would recommend the Tower of London to anyone looking to learn more about British history or who wants to visit one of the best attractions in London.
