Macau🇲🇴 doesn't have many places where you can climb high and look far. As the highest point on the Macau Peninsula, Dong Wang Yang Mountain is an excellent place to watch the sunset. 🚡Dong Wang Yang Fort: Originally a fort, it was used for defense against foreign invasions and as an observation post. It has always been listed as a military restricted area, and outsiders are not allowed to enter without approval, except on August 5th, the birthday of the Virgin Mary, and the Double Ninth Festival in the lunar September. In 1976, when the Portuguese army withdrew from Macau, the fort💥 was opened as a tourist spot and still maintains its original appearance. The fort is home to the Church of Our Lady of the Snows and the Dong Wang Yang Lighthouse. As a Portuguese colonial building, the white walls with light yellow lines make the overall architecture very fresh and photogenic. From the top of the mountain, you can overlook the whole of Macau, facing the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge to the east and the city to the west. When the sun sets, the city side is bathed in the sunset, making it an ideal place to watch the sunset. 🕰 Business hours: 9:00-18:00, the entrance to the fort is closed, but Dong Wang Yang Mountain is open all night. Remember, if it's winter, the closing time is earlier than sunset, don't just go down the mountain, you can continue to watch the night view outside the wall of the lighthouse. 📷 Camera position: First of all, you need a medium to long focus, preferably with a lens focal length of 85 or above, to better capture the sunset. 1️⃣ If it's not closed, the best camera position is on the highest platform, not only without the obstruction of trees, but also with the lower platform as the foreground, you can shoot people and the New Lisboa in the same frame; 2️⃣ After closing, walk to the left of the exit, and you will see a row of long benches where you can enjoy the scenery. Before climbing the mountain, you can also come here to check in. This is a classic camera position for National Geographic magazine, although it has been over-photographed, it is indeed very photogenic. If the neon lights of the New Lisboa light up at night, combined with the surrounding old buildings, it gives a very cyberpunk feel.

✅Chapel of Our Lady of Penha, a small chapel located on the top of Guia Hill, Macau, next to the famous Guia Fortress and Guia Lighthouse. ✔️The chapel was built in 1622 and is well-preserved. It is pure white with yellow lines and follows the architectural style of Portuguese monasteries at the time. When the government repaired the chapel in 1996, they discovered murals depicting Western biblical stories and characters using Chinese painting techniques, showcasing the fusion of Chinese and Western culture and art, which is very rare.
