based on 6359 reviewsThe last stop before leaving Paris was the Pompidou Center. The building's appearance is very unique, like a large industrial factory. No wonder it is written on the Internet as an industrial modern style. I bought tickets online and the tickets were issued fairly quickly. I waited for less than an hour. Art exhibitions, although I don't have artistic cells, I followed my feelings, walked slowly, strolled slowly, and understood and appreciated from my own perspective.
·Feast your eyes on modern masterpieces: Europe’s most important collection of modern and contemporary art
·Watch unmissable exhibitions: discover leading figures of art from the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as outstanding contemporary artists.
·Appreciate the beautiful scenery of Paris: The museum is located in the Marais district in the center of Paris, only a ten-minute walk from Notre Dame Cathedral and the busiest neighborhood in Paris.
The Centre Pompidou is a centralized exhibition place for French 20th century culture and art. It is also known as the three major art museums in Paris along with the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay. The entire building is like a construction site under construction, composed of steel pipes and glass pipes, which is entrenched among the elegant and beautiful ancient buildings in Paris. It looks particularly innovative and is known as the "refinery in the city center".

△ The first-floor lobby of the Centre Pompidou is equipped with cloakroom and left-luggage office, a cafe, a souvenir shop, a bookstore and a children's playroom. It also displays an architectural model of the entire the Centre Pompidou. There is a cinema, activity room and performance hall on the second floor, where exhibitions, concerts, drama performances, etc. are held from time to time. The third and fourth floors are open-shelf libraries with a large collection of books and easy borrowing. They are public libraries frequented by locals.

△ Located on the fifth and sixth floors is the National Museum of Modern Art. There is a viewing platform on the seventh floor, where you can overlook the panoramic view of Paris, overlooking the Montmartre district and the Sacré-Coeur Cathedral.

△ The outer walls are covered with colorful pipelines and steel trusses, which are distinguished by color: blue is the air conditioning exhaust system, yellow is the electrical system, and green pipes control water pipes. In the giant transparent cylindrical tubes, automatic elevators busily transport visitors to each floor.

△ The Centre Pompidou has a multi-field collection as its mission, with a collection of more than 100,000 works from 1905 to the present. It not only inherits the collection of the Luxembourg Museum, founded in 1818, but also houses art purchased by the state from living French artists.

△ Visitors can enjoy many incredible modern and post-modern art works.

The Centre Pompidou is absolutely worth a visit. We especially enjoyed the 5th and 4th floor with the permanent exhibition. A must see when visiting Paris. You also have an amazing view over Paris, including the Eiffel Tower from the 6th floor.
A very exciting way to spend your afternoon. Bring your art lovers and open eyes as this is like a museum you’ve never been to before. Prepare to climb the floors of the museum in deep thought after every art work. Recommended for contemporary art enthusiast and curious admirers of the arts. There is even a popular library on one of the floors! Beautiful views of all of Paris. Very memorable.
This place is suitable for two types of people. 1. Interested in art. 2. Interested in taking photos. Arrived at 10 o'clock in the morning, lined up, opened at 11 o'clock, and entered quickly. The pattern on the ticket is different, be careful~ You can go to the service center to get a guide, which will have an introduction to each floor and each exhibition. There are peripherals to buy after each exhibition. Those who are interested in art can soak for a long time. There are cafes and other restaurants inside, as well as a library. The biggest surprise of Pompidou is that you can see the whole Little Paris. Little Paris is the old city, there are no tall buildings, and the highest floor of Pompidou has a large activity space and a very good view. When we went there in March, the weather was not very good, and it was sunny from time to time. There are many graffiti walls around, and there are many special design buildings to shape. There are many small shops around. Because it opens at 11 o'clock, if you are not obsessed with art, it is usually enough to visit for more than 2 hours, and you can go to eat.
The Pompidou Center is quite unique! Its exterior is contrary to the style of traditional architecture. All columns, stairs and pipes that have never been seen before are removed from the outside to make room for internal use. Entering the Pompidou, the exhibitions inside are rich and colorful, covering various art forms. You can appreciate the masterpieces of modern art here and feel the innovation and courage of artists. In addition, the center also has some interactive exhibitions and activities, which are very suitable for young people and art lovers. However, due to the uniqueness of the building, the interior space is relatively open and may be a bit noisy. Moreover, there are more people, so be careful to keep your belongings. In general, the Pompidou Center is a vibrant and creative place, worth a visit!
A famous art center in Paris. I never had the chance to visit it before, until the third time I had time to visit it. You can buy tickets at the entrance. Due to time constraints, I didn't have a guide, so I just looked at the map and walked around. There are some painting areas and some sculpture areas, as well as displays of handicrafts. The content is very rich. Although you are not an expert, laymen can still enjoy the excitement. The overall exhibits are very modern, bold, and colorful, bringing people visual enjoyment and spiritual impact. It is well worth a visit.
[Art] The Pompidou Center is one of the three major art centers in Paris, with a unique style of modern art. The Museum of Modern Art on Beaubourg Street on the right bank of the Seine is often referred to as "Beaubourg" by locals. Because the appearance of this modern building is very similar to a factory, it is also known as the "refinery" and "cultural factory".
Centre Pompidou is located right at the central region of Paris. As a visitor, you might be very shocked by the odd and avant-garde gesture of this architecture, but it is indeed a very significant move in architectural design in Paris. As amazing as its design, I enjoyed the Norman Foster Exhibition during June 2023, had so much inspiration from this architecture and their exhibitions. Was definitely worth a visit. Tips: you might be able to purchase cheaper tickets by using student discount!
