The Site of the First National Congress of the CCP is a preserved meeting hall and historical site in Shanghai’s Xintiandi area. In July, 1921 members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) met to debate the party’s political program. The museum contains restored furniture used during the meeting, as well as historical documents and realistic wax figures of participants. Volunteer tour guides provide tours throughout the day with limited offerings in English. As a fascinating part of Chinese history, the museum certainly merits a visit.

The site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, a red education base, is located in Xintiandi, Shanghai, next to Taipingqiao Green Space. The museum retains its original appearance and is a good place to receive socialist education. Every day, it attracts a constant stream of visitors.
The interior is well-designed and has a pleasant environment. It's a great place for patriotic education. It's definitely worth visiting to see the cultural heritage left by our ancestors and promote patriotic education.
The Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is opposite the site of the First National Congress. As of the end of 2019, the Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China has 55,768 pieces/sets of collections, including 8,338 pieces/sets of precious cultural relics, and has been rated as a national first-class museum. At 9:30 in the morning, there are free guided tours in the museum. From Shikumen to Tiananmen Square, for more than a hundred years, the Communist Party of China has not forgotten its original aspirations and has achieved the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
This is the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It is well worth a visit. It has been well renovated and a large new venue has been built. Without the Communist Party, there would be no New China. We are grateful to the older generation of Chinese leaders for laying the foundation for us, so that we can have the happy life we have today.
In September 1950, in order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Shanghai Municipal Committee, in accordance with the instructions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, searched for the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China and invited Li Da, Dong Biwu, Bao Huiseng and other historical parties to conduct on-site inspections, confirming that No. 76 Xingye Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai (formerly No. 106 Wangzhi Road) was the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China; at the same time, it was found from Zhou Fohai's memoirs "The Past" and the 1949 edition of "The Youth of Comrade Mao Zedong" that the accommodation of the representatives of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China was the Bowen Girls' School on Pope Road (Taicang Road) (the former site of the dormitory of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China). .
The site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is composed of a Shikumen building with limited rooms and a small exhibition area, mainly featuring graphic exhibitions. 📖This year, two new Shikumen-style buildings were added opposite the site, forming a new "Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China" complex.
The Red Education Base is really good. It is free, no reservation required, and you only have to queue up to enter. It is clean, tidy and comfortable.
