The Windhover

We had been to the windhover before but its got even betterwarm welcome has we entered the door we was seated straight away by the window as requested staff was very good & cheerful meals was exerlent nicely presented & hot sweet also just to say have no doubt about returning great value thank you for a great Anniversary dinner

We thought the menu was quite limited but decor and feeling excellent. The food we had was very good but would have liked more choice.

Absolutely beautiful place to eat food is truly excellent and staff are the same always enjoy hoping here

Good food and service, especially as it was a full sitting on Saturday evening. Good value skewers.

We booked online for a table for 2.When we arrive we were attended to straight away. The table we were offered was very small. I looked around and there were couple sitting on bigger table so the table we were being offered was the only very small one as I could see. She said that they were really busy ( not true) but would have a look on the computer. She showed us to another table in an area that had 5 or 6 other tables all vacant. I went to the toilet and on way noticed more vacant tables. The the waitresses were neither friendly or unfriendly just doing their job I felt.We had fish and chips which was excellent. We always leave a tip if service charges is not added but my husband said not to.I did give a donation to the charity the pub was sponsoring. On leaving the premises I noticed a couple on the said table and I actually felt sorry for them it looked cluttered. It should be used for flowers only.
