This place it is 10/10. Good food, amazing ambience, they had a piano player when we went,  and the people it is amaizing, the server, the owner make you feel welcome.

True classic french food.  Very fresh and tasty.  The restaurant has been 100 years old and it is interesting Quality of foods is well worth

It was simply amazing. Stunning place, friendly and professional staff. We paid half price thanks to The Fork. Definitely a very good deal.

A restaurant where time is suspended in a perfectly mastered retro atmosphere. Tasty, generous dishes that combine tradition and modernity in just the right balance. And charm, lots of charm, for this mythic Lyon venue.

We had a fantastic dinner here. The staff does not speak English, however, the food is great and  they were very accommodating to our broken French . The place is very elegant with classical music and a quiet atmosphere. We recommend it   100%

I saw it on the road on the way back to White Apple Square from Woodland Square. I planned to go in and try it when I saw the facade so elegant. It turned out that it was the oldest cafe in Lyon in legend. Because there were many people, I could only wait for the waiter to complete the service of other tables before arriving at us. I waited 15 minutes for the order. I should have had a coffee, but I didn&rsquo;t want to drink coffee at night. I came to a glass of white wine, Lyon&rsquo;s famous cheese juice fish cake, bran milk chicken and tomato sauce powder, fish cake is Lyon&rsquo;s famous dish, that is, it is used to chop the fish meat and add the flour to make a large piece. A bit like our fish sausage, but softer and more slippery, a bit of sea fishy, soaked in the fragrant cheese juice can cover the fishy smell, try it, anyway, I think it is general. The bran chicken tastes very salty, and it does need to be a lot of white rice. The tomato juice is not too special and the portion is quite a lot, but at least the pasta eaten in France is still soft, and there is no middle like raw noodles. It costs 85 euros for a meal, and the cafe is better to have coffee.

This buzzy restaurant serves attractive , original and tasty dishes. There is a choice of hot food too brought round regularly by very friendly staff. The welcome is extremely friendly too.

The food was excellent with a subtle spicy touch. We loved the lamb!The service is very attentive and we were granted a very warm welcome.We will come back for sure!

I saw it on the road on the way back from Place des Terrestrials to Place Blanche. Seeing how elegant the facade was, I decided to go in and give it a try. It turned out that this is the legendary oldest caf&eacute; in Lyon. Since there were so many people, I had to wait for the waiter to finish. We were not served until other tables were served, and we waited for 15 minutes to take our order. I was supposed to have a coffee, but I didn&rsquo;t have the desire to drink coffee at night, so I had a glass of white wine, Lyon&rsquo;s famous fish cakes with cheese sauce, crispy chicken with milk sauce and penne with tomato sauce. Fish cakes are a famous Lyonnais dish, made from sea fish. Mince the fish meat, add flour and make it into a large piece. It&#39;s a bit like our fish sausage, but softer and smoother. It has a bit of fishy smell. The fishy smell can be covered up by dipping it in the fragrant cheese sauce. Just give it a try, anyway. I think it&#39;s average. We are an American family of four that love good food and wine. We loved the dinner and experience. The owner took our order and let me know that my American accent was butchering his language... I dropped my head in shame; but it was all good fun. The sweet breads, pork cheek, EVERYTHING were all delicious! We are so glad we made reservations and dined here. You will nor be disappointed.

Fast food feel. Food is good, dessert was just ok. Friendly staff but you have to move to pay before your food comes.
