This guesthouse is located near Kiyomizudera. You can literally walk there. It takes only 10 minutes walk to the train station which is very convenient. There's no elevator. You may have a hard time if you have big luggage with you (first hand experience). The bed is very comfortable. Before I even checked in, someone spilled sauces over one of the refrigerators and it stayed like that all of my stays, but other than that, this guesthouse is very clean. Also, the staff is kind and caring. When they know I'm Thai, they spoke my language! I was impressed. Overall, this is a great place to stay with affordable price.

The concept of this hostel is great - something better and more inclusive than a capsule hotel with large, comfortable beds. Pros: The common area and kitchen were really nice, and the free beer hour provided a great way to connect with other travelers. The common area has huge windows looking onto downtown Kyoto. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and spoke English. You are given a keycard for access to the bed floors and after hours. You need to reserve breakfast the day before, but it's right next to St Marcs Cafe which I thought was a great option, so IMO you don't need to use the hostel's breakfast. The showers were good, and I never saw them full despite a lot of people staying here at this time. The laundry machine seemed easy to use as well. The location in downtown Kyoto is obviously great and close to bus stops to reach popular temples on the east side. Cons: The only problem I faced was that the iPod to control my bed and lights rarely worked! The first night, I was unable to recline the bed into sleeping mode or turn off the lights, so staff had to come reset something on top of the pod to get it to connect. It stopped working again after that, and I could not turn the lights on in the morning. I also did not get to use the special wake-up features. Because my stay was only a few days and I wasn't spending leisure time in the pod, I decided to just deal with the unlit pod. Also, I was the only person who I spoke with who had this issue. But the hotel should improve the engineering of the iPod controllers or provide backup physical controls on the side. This wasn't an issue for me, but my medium-sized suitcase would not fit in the pull-out luggage rack under the bed. I had to keep the suitcase closed and on its side between the luggage rack and the screen. I don't think that travelers with large suitcases would be able to fit them in the pod, you'd probably have to find an empty corner in the hallway. Overall, I would recommend staying here, just hope you aren't the unlucky one who gets assigned to a broken pod.

As usual we didn't go on a commercially-run tour and - having done all the research thoroughly before we left Australia - we managed our own tour. Our Japan Rail Passes were such a boon !! Kyoto, as the ancient capital, was a vital segment on this trip and so our choice of accommodation was very important. This little place was central to everything we wanted to visit in Kyoto, and we were taking a friend who really preferred cruise boats and was nervous about travelling around for this length of time by land (she genuinely LOVED it) and so we deliberately didn't choose a more traditional style of Japanese accommodation: a bit disappointing for us as we would have preferred that. It was within walking distance of the Imperial Palace, and close to major cross-city bus routes - so very central to the places we wanted to visit, like the masses of cherry blossoms along the river. It was very comfortable and warm, and facilities were great. Staff were young, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Kyoto

It seems that there are many foreigners who bring back the facilities in the room, and it was inconvenient because there was no pot in the room. Therefore, of course there is no tea or coffee. There are toothbrushes, disposable slippers and recesses. There are many outlets, but there is no USB port. There is a refrigerator. Also, outside the window is the wall of the next building immediately and there is a feeling of blockage. It is said that the next door is AEON MALL, but since it is a room that only sleeps, it is too far from the station as a room to go back to sleep at the time when the AEON MALL is closed. It's not so far away from the distance, but I feel far away because there is no store on the way.

There is a private paid (1000 yen) parking lot just north of the hotel. It is convenient because the car can be in and out on the way. I stayed ３ for a single on the eight floor in a 9-story hotel. The service from ６ in the afternoon is great. What a free rice and miso soup. The accustomed guests brought a little side dishes in advance and were eating. ８ from the month to the service only on weekdays. The room is independent air conditioning, the floor is flooring and carpet. A slightly hard and comfortable bed, WIFI is fast and comfortable. The number of outlets is also enough. The tea service was equipped with coffee, tea, cups and glasses, and even a tea spoon that was only more than a luxury hotel. The bathroom is unit type, and the bathtub is a little more legs, but (a little luxury?) Mineral water １ this service is unnecessary. I was scheduled to go to a meeting with the president who was very caring for Miyazu, and I was recommended to sleep only. I also gave you a detailed description of the Go to campaign. We chose this ryokan because of the affordable price and location. When we arrived, our bags had been placed in our room (we'd sent them from our previous hotel via the takkyubin service), which was a nice touch. The room felt very small for the two of us. There was basically just enough floor space for our two futons laid out right next to each other. However, there is a large closet where they normally store the futons that we were able to use to store our luggage and other items when we rolled out the futons. The futons were very thin; I felt like I was pretty much just sleeping on the floor and it was rather uncomfortable. We got one of the private rooms so we would have our own bathroom but again, the bathroom was very small. Of course, we didn't spend a ton of time in the room anyway as we were out and about most of the time so the small space was not a dramatic downside. The neighborhood was quiet, which we liked, and the staff were very friendly. We had the western-style breakfast a couple mornings and it was quite good! All in all, it is an affordable stay in Kyoto, but I can't say that it is the most comfortable option. I would also warn that if you are looking specifically for a great ryokan experience and not just for a place to crash, this might not be the type of place you're looking for.

We stayed in the family suite. There were 2 beds and 3 floor mats. The beds were comfortable but the floor mats were so thin it was impossible to sleep comfortably as an adult. The room itself was very clean and had a really nice bathroom. However do not leave anything of any value in the room while you are away. We had something that was charging stolen from our room while we were out one day. We immediately noticed upon our return and alerted management. They assured us we would be compensated if they could not be found. That never happened and once we left the country, they completely changed their tone and refused to do anything. There is not a safe in the room so just take it all with you!

It was a little walk from the station, but there were several taverns around and it was convenient for meals. You can also enjoy nostalgic western food at the restaurant of Matsukaku Kan. On the day I checked in, I could put coffee myself and bring it back to the room. It was narrow because it was a reasonable room with 6,460 yen, and the outside of the window was a bicycle place, but the inside of the room was clean. However, it was troubled that the wall was a little thin or the sound of the alarm in the next room at 3 a.m. . Breakfast is buffet. I tasted it because there were curry and Maizuru specialty (?) meat potatoes in Matsuzawa Kan. Curry was a nostalgic taste with a lot of flour. I think it is a business hotel that is easy to use with business leisure.

Convenient and close to the subway station. Higashi Honganji Temple is nearby. Just a short walk will take you to the lively places around Kyoto Station. I thought it was a very nice place. I stayed for 3 nights in a quiet Japanese-style room that felt like an annex. I was able to spend my time calmly. The staff's response was also polite and positive. He didn't answer the phone very often (lol) If I come to Kyoto again, I would like to use it again. thank you very much! The photo shows the alley from the station to the rest house. (Walking down the alley was so much fun!) Higashi Honganji Temple and Kyoto Tower can be seen along the way.

Right next to Nijo Castle, close to bus and metro stops. The shared areas were cleaner than we expected. The beds were comfortable, and the ventilation worked well. The shared area had a microwave, coffee, tea, and snacks available. They provide everything you need for hygiene, including pajamas. We had two fantastic nights. Thank you.

From Himeji, I want to go to a hotel in a small city passing by the middle of the overpass. In terms of the location in the city, it is also far from the JR station, which is relatively remote. But it is also relatively clean, and there are supermarkets nearby, DAISO, and there are a lot of food, not bad. There are new and old pavilions, and there are large baths, which are also due to the baths. There is a free drinks bar in the lobby, and I like the careful facilities of the hotel. There is no non-smoking room choice, the reservation is a smoking room, but fortunately the smell of smoke is not big. I lived in the new building but still used the physical key. I went out of the room and there was no non-stop socket except the toilet. If you really need to charge when you go out, you can only move to the toilet to charge.

You get what you pay for here, cheap and cheerful. The main downside is no shower unless you pay ¥1750 but at that price point you can get a good hotel instead. The bed is quite hard too so not a comfortable sleep, but you can’t complain at the very low price especially if it’s just for a one night stop over. Nearby are most of the additional things you need too as it’s very close to the town centre, which is easily walkable including the train station.

This hotel is beyond my expectation. This small hotel is quite good in the small area of Fukuchiyama. When I booked the hotel, the time was tight and there was not much space to choose. I only chose this hotel near the station for one day. Very good to find the distance jr Fuzhishan Station about 300 meters, the room package is not bad, the bed has a small flashlight, very intimate design, the bed is 1.4, but I can imagine that the small and medium can sleep 2 people

The room was clean and tidy, the Japanese-style room was good, there was no heating, but there was a small heater. The location is not far from the train station, there are supermarket bows and convenience stores nearby.

As for the facilities in the room, you can't expect much since it's a historical inn. The communal bath also gives a sense of age. There is no problem with sweating, but I would like to see the dressing room with a frosted glass door covered with a noren curtain that can be seen from the outside. However, the food outweighs the negatives. Perhaps because it has a restaurant/café, you can feel that the main thing at this inn is the food. There is a supermarket right next door so you can go for some shopping, which is a plus. The inn had good access to surrounding sightseeing spots, and overall I was satisfied with the inn.

This hotel is very historic and clean. If you can't live in Amanohashidate, it's pretty convenient. It's about 15 minutes walk to the train station. There is a department store nearby and there are many restaurants upstairs to choose from. The breakfast is Japanese, simple and delicious. The counter clerk can speak a little English, so communication is not a big problem. The toilets are shared and very clean. Most of the guests are Japanese and very polite.

The hotel is very close to the overpass station and it takes about 2-3 minutes to walk. Maybe because we paid a higher price than usual, our room was underground and a little bigger than the nearby room, of course with a lake view overpass! Our room was equipped with bathroom and toilet. The room is very comfortable and clean, and the pine-leaf crabs for dinner are very delicious (a whole pine-leaf crab) The test products in the big bathhouse (the facial cleanser for travelers) are also very easy to use, very push!

A Zhenger Bajing Japanese-style hotel, take off your shoes at the entrance of the building, go up and down the stairs barefoot, the rooms are very clean inside and outside, public toilets, there is a soup pool, and you need to pay 150 yen hot spring tax for bathing. Breakfast is pure Japanese, no problem with eating. Take the Danhai bus from Egan or overpass, Xishangchuan, walk 200 meters to reach.

The owner and his wife are nice and the service is good and the breakfast is delicious. The hot spring is in the store. I stayed for one night and soaked twice. The two soups are different in the morning and evening. The indoors are soaked in the sea. The surrounding environment of the hotel is good.
