2-Star Hotels in Krabi Province, Thailand

Great place to stay for the price. Nice beach right in front of the hotel and close to the pier, but far enough away to keep it quiet. Other reviews said there was no hot water, but my hot water worked perfectly. The hotel was a little difficult to get in touch with. We wanted someone to meet us at the pier to help get our luggage to the hotel (a service they offer), but couldn't contact them to schedule it. We tried email, whatsapp, calling, and even had Trip try to contact them for us with no luck. Luckily the hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk from the pier so it wasn't too bad.

The room rate is cheap, the shower water is hot enough, and the location is OK. As soon as I entered the room, I found a lot of small ants in the room. There were ants all over the sink and small table. There was no kettle or hair dryer. The hotel style is very much like a hospital. The atmosphere is not good. Smoking is allowed on the balcony.

🤗 What we liked: + big comfy beds with clean sheets + spacious rooms + hot shower + water and coffee daily + helpful staff + aircon that's easy to adjust 🥺 What we didn't like: - rooms facing the main road are very load, impossible to sleep with big bikes and trucks roaring 24/7. After one sleepless night - thanks to the stuff - we changed the room to the one facing a quiet road. Tip: ask for a room with one bed (the ones with 2 face the main road) - on the last floor there are water pumps and some air machines that supply the hotel, so every time someone used a toilet / took shower /turned on air vent - those machines started making loud noises in our room

The room was huge and clean . The problem were that there was ants in my room , I had to buy a product. Also there was the horrible sound of construction which would wake me every morning

Fly to Krabi, stay in the city, stay in a new building, 2nd floor, staff speak well, give good advice, not far from Krabi walking street. The disadvantage is that the air conditioner is not very cool, no hair dryer, but overall good.

hotel was located very close to the pier which was really convenient. lots of food places around the hotel. the room was nice and clean. the bathroom was nice too. staff were amazing and let us check in a little bit earlier even though we didn’t request in advance

Location is close to the Tiger Cave Temple, a short 8-10 minutes drive away. A 7-11 outlet is located conveniently right beside the hotel. Short drive to the Thai'D Up Adventure area, which is also something worth trying.

A bit of a walk from the hustle and bustle but the place was so lovely, if you’re staying in the family bungalow there is a gorgeous cat- please look after her for me!

It was sucha pleasant stay! the hostel is in the middle of alot of halal food restaurants and tour groups package stalls can be found within walking distance. renting of bike,laundry services available downstairs too! toilets are clean. room is comfortable and receptionists are very friendly too! highly recommended! would love to stay here again.

Definitely recommend everyone to rent a motorcycle since it can reach everywhere you wanted to go. The hotel provide motorcycle and car parking too.

The stay was good. The only issue was the receptionist giving wrong answers to inquiries. She told only way to reach long island beach was a 1 hour walk while there were boat rides for that. When asked for island hopping, she redirected us to someone who bailed on us.

Very dirty room, the curtains are all stained, the floors are not washed. There is no partition/curtain in the shower, so everything is flooded with water, and there are also no shelves in the bathroom (taking a shower was very inconvenient and disgusting) The bed linen has stains and holes (we hope that the stains just haven’t been washed out..) The mattress is uncomfortable. The location is good (but we didn’t find it right away, Google maps doesn’t build the route correctly) There is a slight climb up the steps. The view from the room is wonderful! Beach towels were issued upon request at the reception, water also had to be asked each time (the room was not replenished) Cleaning upon request (but in fact only bed linen is replaced) There is a kettle, but to boil it you need to use the outlet near the bed. It’s better to walk along the coast to Long Beach, it takes about 30-40 minutes (do not follow the route Google Maps builds - it leads through the mountain)

Some of these reviews seem harsh, especially given what you pay for the room! The staff are friendly and accommodating, even letting us check in early and borrow extra towels for the beach. Room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was a wet room style but the water drained surprisingly quickly. Location is excellent if you want to be away from the noise, but still only a short walk into the centre. In short, a basic stay but good value for money.

We enjoyed our staying. Yes it is not a new hotel, but it is nice and clean. The beds are just perfect. We got a wall view, but is was better than a noisy construction view. The hotel have a cool common area on the first floor so there is no problem is you do not get a window/balcony. The location is great, it is close to everything (bars, cafes ect) but absolutely quiet to sleep. Reccomend.

Отель очень понравился, окна выходили на противоположную от дороги сторону, было очень тихо. Аостель очень удобная, кайф... Отель в центре острова, всё рядом, и пляжи, и пирс, и кафе с обменниками. Хозяева отеля очень приветливые. А ещё там живут три милых котика))

The room is clean, suitable for sleeping and working in a tourist area, near tourist attractions, not expensive, the receptionist can provide good tourist information.

Good little road-side hotel with a short walk to the beach.  Great service.  Friendly & helpful staff.  Very clean room.  Great service.  Stayed for only 1 night.  Hotel is located approximately in the middle of the island (north to south); rent a motorbike from the hotel and go explore Koh Lanta.

This for the Robinson Crusoe adventurers in you. My cheapest expenses up to now. I got to this place with the idea to live like in a deserted island hut. I was not disappointed. I took the second cheapest bungalow. All in bamboo. No fridge or security box. Just a Firm bed and a 3 speed fan. Muskito net surrounds the bed and the jungle night sounds as well. Your next to restaurants and 7eleven so you won't go hungry or thirsty. You can reserve tickets for every activities. Rent a scooter is a must to go around and enjoy the island. Ask for Scoottie the red scooter. Is my fav. Family owners are super nice and eager to help with anything. Every bungalow has a make shift Hammack where you will find your self often relaxing. Or walk 8 min toward the beach from from any ressort entrance. The OK is not for The luxury seekers.more for the Indiana Jones type that wants to disconnect from it all.

On recommande à 100% ! Hôtel super bien placé, personnel bienveillant, respectueux et à l’écoute ( petit dédicace à Nam, la petite dame adorable de l’accueil), chambre propres et très correctes, services de scooter, taxi, laverie au top ! Absolument rien à redire, on a passé 3 nuits dans ce super hôtel, et on y retourne dès que possible.

The room amazed me the second the manager, Wind, who is the younger brother of the proprietor, Mr. Sunny, opened its door to me. With a refreshing Thai scent spreading from within, the room whose original two single beds had been combined into a big one for a solo traveler under my presumptuous request totally captivated me. It had a nice patio where I could put my feet up after a hot day out to the beach in the broiling sun. Wind also recommended me to go to what he considered as a must try restaurant and bar. He got me a scooter to which I only had to pay half overdue price on the last day because I forgot the time and couldn’t make it from the farthest beach, Bamboo Beach, on the island. His assistant, Shu, was shy and nice. One day I mistakenly bought two eggs that were light boiled, if not raw. She, without a second thought, helped me save my breakfast protein source. The proprietress, Ms. Ning, got me some pizza and bread she and her husband seemingly practiced making in the bistro kitchen next door. I would definitely book a room with breakfast next time if they planned to reopen after the Covid outbreak. In short, the hotel, just like its name, truly made feel at home; the owner and the staff, including the cat, Member, were terribly good and generous people. I will be terribly missing them. Of course I will go back to Koh Lanta in the future, and of course,Lanta at Home will be my one and only choice. PS. See you soon, Wind. Nice talking to you. You are a fun soul. great location at Phrae Ae beach 50m to beach with great sunsets good food in front of hotel can't go past this place for price vs comfort vs location with anywhere you stay on Lanta you need a bike to get around definitely will return to this accommodation

The check in was perfect, very nice host. Rooms were very ordinary and just furnished. All were clean, bathroom, floor, bed. Very helpful and friendly, I would book again every time.

The hotel is in an OK location to get to the night market, the pier & obviously the nearest beach which is nice. However, without a bike you will struggle to explore much past this area without using Tuk Tuks. Our balcony faced the main road so was very very loud & only had one chair. Fan & A/C are good. Receptionists are lovely people.

We had the best, best time. Such a peaceful, beautiful place. The staff were amazing, took us everywhere we wanted to go, booked our trips and transfers and were always around to help. So glad we decided to stay here and we hope we get to visit again in the future. Great location for beaches and restaurants.

Our stay at Lom La Lanta was absolutely delightful! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While the street noise could be a little noticeable in the late morning, using earplugs ensured we slept very well. The location is very good, with a 7-Eleven just a 5-minute walk away and the beach close by. For exploring the best beaches and attractions in Koh Lanta, we highly recommend renting a motorbike. We rented ours directly from Sada, and her service was outstanding! She offered the best prices and was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you need anything during your stay, just ask Sada. Another highlight of our stay was the super-fast internet. We had 300 Mbps in the reception area and 50 Mbps in our room, which was perfect for workation. Plus, the adorable cats around the hotel made our experience even more enjoyable! We sincerely hope to visit again soon. Thank you, Sada, for your exceptional hospitality!

STAY AT THIS HOTEL! This place has stolen our hearts, lovely apartment rooms, all with pool with. This is a family run home hotel and they’re the friendless, most sweetest people we’ve ever met. We extended our original 3 night stay, another 3 nights purely because of them. Everywhere in Koh Lanta you really need a mo-ped to get about but it’s literally one straight road from top to bottom of the island, so I can’t fault the location when there’s a gym / Muay Thai gym 1 minute away, beach & 7-Eleven plus many restaurants within 10 minutes on feet. 10/10 stay, I couldn’t recommend enough.
