This was by far the best hotel I've booked for this Northeast Grand Loop self-driving trip, and I highly recommend it!

Choosing this hotel for my business trip to Wuhai was such a wise decision. It's a standalone building, away from the noisy Wanda apartment complex, with its own courtyard and parking right outside. You can see the Genghis Khan statue from the hotel entrance, and Wuhai Lake is also nearby—the scenery is beautiful.

It takes more than 20 minutes to walk from Hohhot East Station. You can eat at McDonald's during the trip. The location is not very good, but it is acceptable.
