"Great spot to stay for longer layovers on a budget, it’s a 15 or so minute walk from arrivals here going via the train station overpass and I stayed here during a 20 hour layover. I got a space capsule and it was very good. Privacy, private temperature control, ambient lighting, decent lockers, reasonably clean toilet and shower facilities but plenty available. The staff who checked me in were very friendly but not very friendly when I checked out, not sure why but I guess it’s not a deal breaker for a 1 night stay. The only other thing I can say is there’s lots of stairs to get to each room. My room was on the 5th floor and there wasn’t a lift or anything so if you’re not willing to climb stairs then perhaps this isn’t the place for you."

"I always stay in this hotel every time i visit Bangkok. It's located close to MRT station, around 300 m distance. There are plenty of eateries around and 7-11 outlets are a ston's throw away. The caretaker of the hotel is friendly although limited English is spoken. The room price is affordable. At night you can walk to the vividly busy Huai Khwang night market for fruits and food."

"I stayed on Friday. The sauna gets crowded after work, around 6 p.m. There are both guests staying here and people who aren’t—about 90% are foreigners who speak Chinese, with a small number of Europeans. There’s a mix of attractive and average-looking people; it really depends on personal taste.
The accommodation itself is simple and nice, and people are friendly, though language can sometimes be a barrier. When people want to have fun, they usually go to the sauna area. The accommodation area itself is generally quiet, which is good because it doesn’t disturb anyone."

GGuest UserThe best hotel for you to stay in Bangkok; it was our first time in the city and the staff were accommodating to us. Our room was really spectacular, views all over Phra Nakhon and most of the spots that we visited were just a few minute drive from our hotel. I really recommend this place for anyone who's traveling to see the sights and beauty of Thailand and its people. With budget in mind, they really exceeded our expectations. We will see you again soon khap!

I checked in at 1:30am and was warmly greeted by Wishai, the evening front desk staff member, who made the late check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The front daytime desk staff, Pan and the newly hired Beau, were exceptionally friendly and helpful during my check-out, leaving a positive lasting impression. Peiw, the housekeeper, ensured that everything was immaculately clean, maintaining the high standards I’ve come to expect here. The poshtel offers private rooms with shared toilets and showers, and the added comfort of being able to control your own air conditioning made my stay even more enjoyable.
Yakthai Poshtel also features a small, cozy café downstairs where you can buy coffees and teas, and that serves a simple free breakfast for guests. I appreciated the convenience of having souvenirs available for purchase and the unique option to rent traditional Thai costumes for events or memorable photos. The poshtel's location is ideal, situated in a quiet area directly across from the stunning Wat Ratchabophit temple. Each stay reaffirms my decision to keep returning, as the friendly and helpful staff truly make Yakthai Poshtel feel like a home away from home.

The receptionist greeted me with a friendly smile and quickly provided all the necessary information about the facilities, Wi-Fi password, and nearby attractions. Their professionalism and hospitality immediately made me feel welcome.
The hostel itself has a modern yet homey design. The interiors are simple but stylish, with clean lines and well-thought-out details. My room was surprisingly spacious for a hostel, featuring a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a spotless private bathroom. The linens were clean and smelled fresh, and I appreciated that housekeeping maintained the room daily. The rooftop room I booked was incredibly spacious and cozy, perfect for a relaxing night even when it rained. The location is a bit tricky, with no parking and a narrow alleyway leading to the entrance, but it's worth it for the peace and quiet.
The highlight was definitely the rooftop room. It felt so open and comfortable. However, the open-air bathroom might not be for everyone, especially if you're shy. For me, it was completely fine. Just be aware there’s no elevator, and if you’re on the 6th floor like I was, be ready for a bit of a climb! Bringing snacks and drinks up with you is a good idea to avoid going up and down too often. The view from the top floor room was absolutely amazing. It was a great reward after the climb. haha!
P.s..I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a unique and quiet experience and doesn't mind a bit of a workout to get to their room. The view and the rooftop room are fantastic. :)

GGuest UserThis hostel is really cheap. But what you get what you pay for. The dorm beds are pretty old and only the bottom bunk has a charging port for your phone. So if you got the top bunk best of luck to you. The place is relatively clean. Good wifi and also has a nice rooftop. If you are one that's. Not picky about the environment you sleep in then this is the place for you.

Everyone here seemed happy and friendly, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. I honestly didn’t want to leave, but I already had another place booked for New Year’s.
I paid almost three times the usual price for a king-size room due to the New Year rush, but it was totally worth it. The room was comfortable, and the location is extremely convenient, making everything easy to access.
Would 100% stay here again. Highly recommended! 😊
