- Spacious room, exactly as described – the room is very large, giving us plenty of space to open our luggage comfortably. It’s also well-equipped with useful amenities such as a washing machine, electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, and hairdryer. Housekeeping cleans the room daily. - Comfortable bed setup – king-size bed with a firm mattress, which we really liked. The pillows were too soft for our preference, but extra pillows were provided upon request. - Bathroom facilities – no bidet, but the toilet seat comes with a heater. Hot water pressure can be a bit unstable, so you may need to adjust the tap to get the desired temperature. - Responsive and helpful front office – staff were very responsive and supportive. During check-in, we were asked to add their WeChat account, which made communication much easier throughout our stay. There's a deposit within our check-in. - Strategic location – plenty of food options on the ground floor of the building. There is also a spacious and comfortable park right in front of the hotel. Close to the metro station, shopping malls, and supermarkets—all within walking distance. - Fast Wi-Fi – works well, but foreign tourists are recommended to use a VPN for optimal speed and access. - Convenient package delivery – the hotel accepts deliveries and ensures packages are brought directly to your room door, which is very convenient. - Good management response – we reported someone smoking in the hallway, and the management handled it promptly and firmly. Well done. - Minor drawbacks – it would be better if basic dining utensils were provided. Also, no detergent is supplied, so you’ll need to purchase it if you plan to do laundry. Conclusion: Highly recommended if you’re looking for a spacious stay with easy access to the metro. Don’t hesitate to communicate with the staff—they are friendly and very helpful.

The place was amazing in this price. Unfortunately, another CJIA exists nearby and I had trouble locating it on Gaode/AMAP. Most important: the hotel offers complimentary breakfast. Please don't fall for it. They order it from Mc Cafe nearby. So if you are a family and want more breakfasts, they would charge 20-22 Yuan per person, however, same meal at McCafe 50 metres away costs 9.9 Yuan. I am not being too critical but its an advice for everyone. . I was initially given a room which smelled strongly of cigarettes. I requested to change and thankfully they did.

I was pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade to a one-bedroom apartment upon check-in. 😂 The room was very clean and quiet, feeling more like an apartment than a hotel. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there was a washing machine and plenty of storage space, making it perfect for an extended stay. For just over 500 RMB a night, a hotel this close to the city center offers excellent value for money. It's very near Yuyuan Road, only about a ten-minute drive to Jing'an District, and a twenty to thirty-minute drive to Hongqiao Airport. It was also fun to have a robot deliver my takeout.

Excellent location, proactive service, and complete facilities! Highly recommended, I really loved it. It has kitchenware, utensils, and even a washer-dryer, which is perfect for longer stays. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from Hema Supermarket, about one subway stop away. However, the surrounding areas like Dongtaili and Xintiandi are fantastic for a city walk.

First off, for this price, the room size and cleanliness are pretty good. I checked in around 2 AM, super late and tired, just wanted a shower. But there was no hot water. I let it run for a long time, then called the front desk. They said to insert the room card to turn on the power, and hot water would be available in about 20 minutes. So I waited, but still no hot water. Then I realized I also had to turn on a switch myself, which is fine. But when I called the front desk, they just told me to wait after inserting the card. I finally saw the switch and turned it on, then waited another 40+ minutes. They said it would reach 60 degrees, but after an hour, it still hadn't even hit 40. Seriously annoying, couldn't even take a shower because there was no hot water.

• Location: Amazing! Just a 2-minute walk to Yuyuan Garden subway station, and right downstairs is the Chenghuang Temple snack street. It's super close to the Bund and Nanjing Road, making getting around incredibly convenient. • Ambiance: The room has a simple, fresh style, clean and tidy with no strange odors. The natural light is fantastic, and from the night view room, you can directly see the Yuyuan Garden nightscape – it really sets the mood. • Service: The owner is warm and thoughtful, sending check-in instructions in advance. Self-check-in was super easy, and they were always available if we had any questions. The experience was excellent. • Facilities: Well-equipped with a projector, washing machine, and microwave. The mattress was just right – neither too soft nor too hard. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, making it feel as comfortable as home.

The hotel is pretty good! It's a loft-style room with a small kitchen, which is great for cooking your own meals. It's very close to the subway station and the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The hotel is located inside the Huihua Li shopping mall, which has excellent facilities and is super convenient. The hygiene was also very good. The mall is really handy, and the stay was comfortable.

Love to stay in this hotel which provides all I need ! It was a rainy day when I checked out. The receptionist offered an umbrella for me without me having to ask. Such a thoughtful and genuine touch that really left a lasting impression. The breakfast was equally impressive with a wonderful spread and plenty of options to suit every taste.

The front desk staff were incredibly patient, always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests. The hotel also hosts monthly interactive activities for guests; this time it was making Qingtuan, which the kids really enjoyed. The hotel's proximity to several metro lines makes getting around very convenient. It's just a 5-minute walk to the nearest commercial street and the Nanyang 1931 shopping mall.

AAnonymous UserI stayed for five days and grew to love this room more and more. The location is unbeatable; Metro Line 2, Exit 2, leads directly to the building, and my room was in Block A, with fast elevators. My first impression upon entering was how clean it was. The sheets smelled like sunshine, the bathroom floor was dry, and the towels were fluffy and soft. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and my back, which usually gives me trouble, felt fine after several nights. The blackout curtains were excellent; once drawn, the room was dark enough for me to sleep until I naturally woke up each day. The microwave and induction cooker were very practical. I kept a few cans of coffee, bought downstairs, in the fridge to grab on my way out in the mornings. Downstairs is Wanda Plaza, offering an endless array of dining options. In the mornings, there are convenience stores and bakeries; for lunch, casual meals; and in the evenings, hot pot and Japanese cuisine. When I didn't feel like going out, delivery services brought food right to my door. There are also supermarkets, pharmacies, and bubble tea shops downstairs, making it a very well-developed living area. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, the shower pressure was strong, and hot water came quickly, which was great for relaxing showers. Housekeeping came daily to change towels and empty trash, keeping the room consistently fresh. Each room comes with a washing machine, which is convenient for both long and short stays. Overall, it offers great value for money, a fantastic location, practical facilities, and attentive service. I'll likely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

**BCan’t beat the location. Super central to all the main sites on either side of the bund. Attentive staff and spotless facilities. Easy access to IfC mall and attached metro lines 2 & 14. Little less convenient for food/product deliveries (compared to some other properties) but nothing more than 5-10mins added time for delivery service to run up the driveway. Great view as well.

AAnonymous UserShanghai Pet-Friendly Apartment. I stayed at this apartment for about half a month, and overall it was great value for money. The two receptionists were very friendly and helpful, and also very pet-friendly. The overall experience was excellent. The apartment was very clean, parking was convenient, and there weren't many people around. The parking lot was quite empty. There's a green space next door, which is great for dog walking, making it very pet-friendly. I especially want to praise Trish.

AAnonymous UserService: The staff were very friendly and helpful, even when I arrived late at night, they assisted me warmly with the check-in process. Room Type: I booked a duplex studio. The bed was very comfortable, and the upstairs bedroom had plenty of space, with ample closet room. Environment: The duplex studio is located in Building B, right above the subway station. There's a McDonald's and FamilyMart nearby, and it's also very convenient to get to the airport. First-day minibar amenity: The mini-fridge had a can of Coke and a can of soda, plus a small packet of instant noodles. A nice touch!

GGuest UserConvenient location with metro train direct entrance around the corner or steps away via a popular food court with many yummy choices. Nice apartment layout. Clean and modern. The split level loft has stairs that may be challenging for ppl with knee problems or very overweight. Attentive and helpful staffs but not intrusive. My floor is quiet. I slept soundly every night. The bed is firm in the right way, super comfortable. There is a fully functioning kitchen with small yet proper refrigerator, conduction stovetop, pots and pan. The shower is strong and hot. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it from 3 to 6 nights. I will stay at Modena if I visit Shanghai again.

YYvonneFacilities: The first floor has a gym and yoga studio. The second floor is closed. Guest rooms are on floors three to seven. The eighth floor features a lounge, a media room, and an open-air mini lawn, perfect for dog walking. On guest room floors, there are small meeting rooms and shared kitchens with communal refrigerators. Upon asking the front desk, I found that most rooms are occupied by long-term tenants. The rooms themselves are spacious, equipped with washer-dryer combos and smart casting TVs. Cleanliness: It's clean. Environment: Located on Sanlu Road, surrounded by small shops and a McDonald's. Breakfast for rooms with breakfast included is usually purchased by staff in the morning and delivered to the room. Service: The front desk operates from 9 AM to 9 PM. Food deliveries can be brought up by a robot, but most of the time delivery drivers just leave them on the first floor. Overall, excellent value for money.

Ddiyarielari1I stayed here 2 months as a solo female traveler and had a decent experience. First off: Peter was WONDERFUL! He was so extremely helpful and keen that I should have a good time and I am really grateful for his attentive and kind communication. There is a large construction going on right by the building (and it will continue through Dec 2025) so there is noise every day from ca 09:00 to 22:00 (at the latest). Peter helped me change rooms immediately to one that was facing the courtyard, which was better (but lets face it, the noise is still there so if you want peace and quiet, this isnt it). In addition there were repair within the building too when I stayed - of course this is not to the fault of anyone. ** Pros: location is close to 2 metro lines, 2 shopping centres. Its very convenient to get most places and close to SHA airport (Pudong is further off). The security is good. The garbage station is open most of the day. They offered change of sheets and towels weekly which was great. **Cons: the rooms are a bit old so there is a smell, I also was unlucky that the previous guest had smoked despite it being forbidden. Saw a cockroach once (but never again - be careful to throw away garbage quickly) and also the doors are quite thin so you'll hear your neighbors in the corridors. Rooms are ”surface” clean but not deep clean, so if you like squeaky clean like me you have to get your own materials. There is definitely buildup. Overall it was a decent stay, and I left with a good feeling thanks to Peter and the nice staff there! Thanks!
