I suspect this hotel has been acquired by Chinese capital. The overall operation model is exactly like a domestic budget business hotel, with a design that clearly emphasizes 'spending money where it counts.'
Pros: The room is spacious, room type 305 is quiet, and it's close to the subway station.
Cons: The facilities are quite basic, and at a price point of over 2000, it lacks a premium feel.
Average value for money. It's more suitable for travelers on a simple trip who don't have high expectations for amenities.
Correcto, limpio y bien situado.
First of all, the hotel is in a great location, 30 minutes walk to Casa Mila. It is very quiet and clean, and the rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Coffee and drinking water are available 24 hours a day on the first floor of the hotel, which is rare in European hotels. The hotel's service level deserves special praise. The day we checked out, there happened to be a nationwide power outage in Spain, and we were about to miss the flight back to China from Madrid the next morning. Fortunately, the hotel staff helped us solve the transportation from Barcelona to Madrid under the power outage, so that we could catch the flight back to China in time. I am sincerely grateful! I will definitely choose HG next time I go to Barcelona!
The hotel exterior is beautiful, and the rooftop features a swimming pool with a view of the police station next door, making it very safe. Breakfast includes Spanish specialties like ham and churros. The rooms are spacious and equipped with ovens and clothes racks. Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM on weekends and holidays, and from 7:30 AM on weekdays. Aside from the slightly difficult door lock, this accommodation was perfect for our trip!

I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days for sightseeing in the city. The location is very convenient as it's accessible from multiple stations. I was next to the kitchen so I could hear a lot of everyday noise, but it was quiet during sleeping hours, so it wasn't an issue. There are many dining options nearby, but it was helpful to be able to store food in the refrigerator in the shared kitchen.
Nice apartments very well located near to several services like parking, restaurants, shops, public transports…
Calm place.

GGuest UserOn arrival the holiday centre was as photographed on the website, fresh, bright, airy and modernised. Apartments are spacious with 2 wide single beds pushed together in the main room which leads off on to an exceptionally generous size balcony. Plenty of room for kids to play, loungers and table and chairs etc. the bed in the hallway (pull down from wall) was comfy and great for my 9 year old son. The livingroom couches were also single beds and of good quality and wide enough, seem some very slim, thin ones before - these were very comfy although never slept in by us as my daughter had a cot.
Check in and out was seamless but be aware a deposit is taken (around £10 per night and given back at end of apartment is left satisfactory) so factor this in to your spends needed initially.
The thing that stood out for us as a family was the lovely man and his assistants who ran the kids club, entertainment, pool games and really engaged with the children despite his obviously long days. They are a credit to the hotel and I don’t think it would attract as many families if this small but important team weren’t on board - my son Jacob loved kids club and made some great friends for the week.
Now is still recommend this hotel with given some recommendations to change things. The hotel caters to very large, roudy crowds of preteens/teens on school holiday stays. They are chaotic and woke our toddler several times, running through corridors screaming, taking up lift where pushchairs and wheelchair users should have priority and teens/groups managed more carefully as they would be if from anywhere else. Called to reception to complain and inform but was pretty much brushed off as they’re excited. Just not great for the rest of us also wanting to enjoy our apartment, sleep and have children. We waited an incredibly long time with 20-30 teens in front of us. I called down to reception one evening as they were shouting, banging and screaming in the halls. Some hotels do not cater to exceptionally large groups for this reason, especially when catering to family holidays also - I’d only stay again if I knew there was no large groups such as this booked to stay. We only ate breakfast the last morning as we preferred to go out to dinners etc as a social thing in the evenings with the children as we don’t drink alcohol much when have young children with us. Food was as expected in hotels, nothing bad to note and plenty of options which are the norm.
If you like quiet this hotel might not be for you. Po. Kew is loud due to entertainment although this didn’t bother us with it stopping at 11pm but the ‘quieter’ side facing out to the road/side was filled with already mentioned large groups of teens shouting back and forth to each other continually. Highly recommend checking if these school trips are on when booking if you like a quiet, relaxed family holiday (most of us do when we have young children).
All in all the hotel is great location, good sized rooms and entertainment for much younger children but would be put off returning due to the issues mentioned.
GGuest UserIt was a very clean accommodation and plenty of towels were provided.
It was a little inconvenient because laundry was done in a shared facility on the 5th floor, and I was a little disappointed that they assigned me a room with a rear view without even asking how many rooms had a view of the Sagrada. There is a rest area and a pool on the rooftop, so it would be nice when the weather is nice. The location is far from major tourist attractions, so it's a bit inconvenient to take the subway every day, so if I had to do it again, I think I'd pick it near Plaza Catalunya.
KKimmyg43I had high hopes for this ”4star hotel”
From the pictures and the previous reviews everything seemed like it was too good to be true...
Arrival was average, had to ask which way to go to get to my allocated room (normally you are directed by a member of reception atleast)
Arrived at my room (104) 1st floor.
Opened the door to a bright airy room..my first thoughts were this is lovely.
Dropped my bags and took a shower and that's where things started to go downhill...let me explain...
Now I am aware this is not 5 star but if im being totally honest I have stayed in cleaner 2 star hotels...
The attention to detail from the cleaners is just way below par for a 4 star establishment.
Shower door covered in limescale (easy to put right with a bit of Elbow grease)
Mold and nasties around the outer edge of the shower door (see pics)
Splash marks all over the tiles at the side of the sink (like old toothpaste marks)
Sink wouldn't drain properly (seemed to be blocked)
Skirting boards definitely hadn't been given a wipe for a good few weeks/months
All standard/basic stuff that you would expect from any hotel and certainly from a 4 star one or am I being picky?
Then there was the call to reception to ask for some milk so I could make a coffee (kettle is provided in room)
Receptionist said they don't have fresh milk only 'powdered sachets' of the most vile tasting milk I've ever had (think baby milk/gone off normal milk)
Apparently the restaurant was closed so they could not access it to get some fresh milk?
Receptionist advised me to go to the supermarket..which is a 25 minute walk from the hotel 🤦♀️
As it happens there is a coffee machine outside the reception entrance so I found myself nipping downstairs to buy one from there. (Not the most convenient but we move forward)
I had read that there was a rooftop restaurant in the flyer as advertised but when I asked about it apparently it is no longer there?
The restaurant is only open at breakfast times so no food is available not even snacks? However they advertise room service so unsure how that works?
Outdoor pools closed which is fine but you couldn't even sit on the loungers hence....nowhere to sit outside the hotel itself.
Such a shame that all these little things build and in turn let it down as a 4 star advertised hotel.
Now for the positives...
The view from the room of the sea is beautiful
It is literally across the road from miles of sandy beaches
There are a couple of lovely restaurants nearby that are open from 12 noon for brunch/dinner and reasonably priced.
The area itself is super quiet and feels safe enough as a solo traveller.
LLung0913The hotel has a great location, just a 5-6 minute walk from the subway station and very close to the Sagrada Familia, a 10-12 minute walk away! The hotel is also very clean. The only drawback is that the soundproofing isn't very good; the door next door closes very loudly!
GGuest UserExcellent location of apartments (metro and supermarket of mercadon in 5 minutes).
In the apartments there are all necessary for comfortable life: microwave, induction stove, toaster, coffee machine, lots of dishes, with a stock of toilet paper and paper towels, in the kitchen there is salt and oil, hand towel. The tug with a smooth board and a folding dryer for clothes is also available. The bed linen is perfectly tailored and looked completely new. The towels in the bathroom are fluffy and liked that huge towels were provided for the shower.
I would like to thank you for having a couch and a couch in the apartments (though we did not use it), but in other travels would not prevent.
The apartments are very clean. During the stay, the maid came once and after it all shone clean. Thank you very much!
I recommend accommodation in these apartments!
Attention!
Be careful. We paid accommodation through the trip.com site and it was indicated that the value included a city tax. But! Two days before the settlement, a letter came to the email requesting to pay the city tax and referring to the payment!
Very stressful situation, as it was not possible to pay our bank card.
GGuest UserGreat hotel for a short stay in Barcelona, I really like the location, it is already a residential area, quiet and clean, but there are enough cafes and restaurants, the metro is nearby, the center is a few stops away! Also, the room is always clean, cozy and good, there is almost everything you need, a hair dryer, shower accessories, a coffee machine, a kettle, tea and coffee, a small refrigerator, disposable cups, enough towels, there is even an iron and ironing board! I would really like a corkscrew in the room))) Also a very nice common area with tables and chairs where you can have a snack, but I would like some minimal dishes and a microwave, it would be much more convenient! Check-in at the hotel is completely remote using codes that are sent when the room is ready, it would also be more convenient if the general code from the door was sent earlier, so that you could wait for the room to be ready at a table on the first floor, and not on the street near the door or in a nearby cafe. Overall I recommend this hotel, I have stayed there 3 times already and am very happy!
RRimas ToliusisLocation is pretty far, yet metro goes close. Hard to find exact building cuz chekin is on the other building. Even tho is the same hotel line for the pool you have to pay extra. Furniture quite old, but spacy rooms. Love how hotels says its smart tv when it isnt. In general it wasnt bad but nothing special. Free coffe from machine quite nice.
GGuest UserI stayed at Aparthotel Rambla 108 for five nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of La Rambla, making it super convenient to explore all the nearby attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, quickly handling any requests we had. Our one-bedroom apartment was clean and well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything we needed. There was a faint sound of the train passing by, but it wasn’t bothersome at all. My family and I were thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and central stay in Barcelona.
AAnonymous UserThe apartment was okay, great location, about 15-20 mins walk to Pg. de Gràcia & Plaça de Catalunya. There is no staff at the apartment, the entrance code was received before check-in. There is an elevator for travellers with luggage.
The apartment was tidy but some areas were a little dusty. Soundproofing was pretty bad even with the windows closed.
There is a welcome pack given with oil, salt, pepper etc. Dishwashing liquid and 1 laundry pod was given as well. There is also dishwashing tablet, even though there's no dishwasher in the apartment. However, there is no kitchen towel. Bathroom amenities were also very minimal for our 4-night stay. Drying rack was also broken.
Additionally, there is a security deposit of €300, they only returned it more than a week later after messaging and reminding them. I doubt they will return the deposit if I didn't ask.
