One of the best hotels of our stay, a extraordinary apartment and space a fabulous location. What probably does it dessert is that the check in is made in autonomy and that it is not warned when booking but well organized with your key and your name in a safe box in any case until the time of opening of the booking. The hotel is open up to 18:00, there seems to be a Reception on the first floor, but we haven't seen anyone, you are answered by the phone if necessary . , However, forget the Parking which is a priori always full (it is easy to park around and not cheap) but beyond these last details, you can go closed your eyes, it's an excellent price quality ratio!
This hotel is located in the commercial and hotel district near the airport, and it has its own parking. If you're not driving, you can catch the #1 bus to the airport just a 2-minute walk from the entrance. It takes about 20-something minutes to get to Queenstown city center. There's a 'Red Super' supermarket about a 10-minute walk away, and plenty of local restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.
The room itself is very spacious and fully equipped with pots, pans, a dishwasher, and even salt and pepper. It's perfect for cooking your own meals and then enjoying them on the balcony with a view.
Really nice looking room and a very good price performance ratio. And you even get a complimentary drink. Room was nice and warm upon arrival. I didnt really understand the self checkin for a second, cause i didnt know the rooms were directly at the parkinglot, where the whiteboards and the name are written. Really easy and useful for a fast checkin and checkout. I would stay there again.
Enjoyed my 2 night stay in Harvest Park. Not too far away from town center (10 mins drive) and from various vineyards :D Heated floors in the toilet was such a nice surprise too. Lovely people taking care of the property, tho it is located in the industrial park area of Cromwell. It was quiet at night and even in the mornings (some reviews said that they could hear noise from the factories around - i didnt!).
The hotel environment is quite good. Each room comes with a dedicated parking space, which is great for families. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy. The kitchen equipment is limited and quite basic. I highly recommend the breakfast place right outside the hotel, Pembroke Pâtisserie – it's absolutely delicious!
An absolutely wonderful experience! The hotel's surroundings are incredibly beautiful. Inside, the decor is very unique and charming, with a lovely little garden and a pool. The front desk even gave us welcome cookies when we checked in, which was a really nice touch.
The apartment was unable to move in after 8pm, and when we really couldn't get to the hotel before 8pm, the hotel asked us to arrive at the hotel before 10pm, but a late check-in fee of $30 would be charged. Said that if you still can't arrive before ten o'clock, there is no way to check in, and the room rate is non-refundable... So if you choose this hotel, you must be optimistic about the time! As for the room facilities, it is clean, and there are induction cookers, microwave ovens and tableware, so you can make simple meals by yourself

It's strange that this hotel apartment only has a 3.8 score on Ctrip. After checking in, I found that the apartment is not bad. The room has a small kitchen with simple kitchenware to cook some food. The location is super good. It is diagonally opposite the train station and a 5-minute walk to the First Church, Octagon Square and other downtown areas. There is a large supermarket Woolworth just outside the hotel, which is very convenient. Analysis shows that the reason for dissatisfaction should be inaccurate hotel data. The platform shows that there are only two room types, one 40 square meters and one 55 square meters. After moving in, I found that rooms like 103 and 104 are not 40 square meters at all, and are only about 28 square meters at most. The adjacent living room is not open. If you book a two-bedroom room, such as 204+205, you can share a living room. The platform data is wrong and misleads consumers to check in. No wonder the guests are dissatisfied and give bad reviews.
This apartment is so clean and comfy, with a great kitchenette available. Also, nice outdoor dining table with excellent Mountainview. The good location to reach supermarket about 5 mins drive.

Very Good
GGuest UserAlthough the sheets on all three beds were dirty, stained, and had hair on them, suggesting they hadn't been changed, the staff promptly replaced all the bedding when we brought it to their attention. Aside from that, we were quite satisfied with the hotel. There's a bus stop right outside, making it very convenient for airport transfers. The town center is about a 15-minute walk, though it does involve a long, steep incline. The two-bedroom apartment is a duplex; downstairs has the living room, kitchen, and a bathroom, plus a separate washroom for handwashing. Upstairs are the two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a bathtub and shower, and a separate toilet and vanity area. The second bedroom has two small beds, both with wardrobes. The kitchen is fully equipped, lacking only a dishwasher, and there's a shared laundry room outside. Both the upstairs and downstairs have balconies with fantastic lake views, perfect for watching both sunrise and sunset. The view alone makes it worth the price!
GGuest UserVery good a hotel apartment, very warm design, perfect facilities, neat and clean, just like your own home. Enjoying the sun on the balcony and drinking a glass of beer is life. The weather in Wanaka is too good. The hotel service is very nice and responds to requests. Also the washing machine comes with disposable detergent, too courteous. The bed was also very comfortable, the shower water was large enough to shower and shampoo very comfortable. Hope to have the chance to stay again next time.
AAnonymous UserA love-hate relationship with this place. The 180-degree lake view flat was amazing, and the in-room facilities were comprehensive, except for one of the stove burners not lighting on max heat and not being able to find the switch for the laundry room exhaust fan. There are also quite a few things to complain about: Getting from reception to the room requires walking along an outdoor driveway and through the garage, which is an unusually unpleasant experience! Luckily the weather was good; it would have been a complete disaster if it had rained. As for the service, the front desk staff acted like robots, seemingly doing nothing but checking guests in. Indian tour buses would block the entrance/exit for over ten minutes at a time, completely jamming the driveway, and no one did anything about it! They claimed to have a shuttle bus service to town, but they didn't control the number of passengers, which resulted in some people not being able to get on. The website said check-in was at 2 PM, but when 2 PM rolled around, they told us the room wasn't ready and we'd have to wait until 2:30 PM for the key card, without a single apology.

AamyuqlI checked in at 3:30 PM only to be given a dirty room, which was very disappointing. I immediately went to the front desk to report it, and they asked me to wait. I then asked if an upgrade was possible because the room felt very cramped, and the window only offered a view of the resort grounds, not the sea. It was room 213B, and all 'B' rooms apparently don't have sea views. You definitely need to pick an 'A' room for a good view. A little later, the front desk told me there were no rooms available and still asked me to wait. After another short wait, they said I could switch to room 201B. Upon opening the door, it was much better – it had a side window and even a partial sea view!
GGuest UserWalked out onto the balcony and we were met with these stunning views.
The time that we visited (May) meant that it was slightly too cold to be out on the balcony for too long, but the views that we enjoyed out of the window were magnificent.
When the first arrived the lady on the front desk was very friendly, and helpful.
We had asked for a double bed and had been allocated two single beds. She quickly contacted the ladies from house keeping and they very kindly sprung into action to help rectify the situation.
The housekeeping staff were nice and pleasant, and the location was just right for us to get out and about visiting some of the local attractions like the Kiwi birdlife park.
The big plus about staying at the highview apartments was having a parking space. When you visit queenstown you'll soon find out that in some places finding a parking space is like gold dust.

VVivienneI am not happy with the type of beds in the apar**ent. The booking clearly stated that it was one king size with 2 single beds but I found out the apar**ent arranged 2 double beds instead. The next day I called the front desk and he told me because I didn’t requested for 2 single beds so 2 double beds were arranged. When I checked out I showed my booking photos to the staff and he told me I sent an email to them and specifically requested to have a double bed instead of 2 singles. I have never requested for that and I was very upset with these responses. Could trip.com investigate what has been gone wrong in my booking? Thank you.
MMichael V.We were in the“Seabreaze“ apt, which was very clean and had the exact great views over the beach as described. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our breakfast. While it was cold outside, the heating inside kept us warm and cozy. Parking in the garage underneath, or right beside the building for a larger car. Important to mention the Italian restaurant just 100m away at the corner, which is our absolute favourite when coming to Dunedin! We highly recommend staying at the Esplanade Apartments and will book again in the future.
