They offer a shuttle bus service between the hotel and the station, which is very helpful. There's also plenty of parking available for those traveling by car. Service: 9/10 The service at 大池酒店 was exceptional. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with smiles, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. Environment: 10/10 The ambiance of the hotel is tranquil, with a strong traditional Japanese style. The peaceful surroundings contributed to a relaxing experience, perfect for unwinding. Overall as we rented a car, location is good. Our Hotel room for 3 of us has good view of Mt Fuji and the amusement park. We stayed for 2 nights for new year count down. However, 1st time in our travel experience that after the room was cleaned, we only found out the next morning that our personal toothbrushes, shaver, toothpaste etc, organized at the washing area in toilet were missing. These are personal items, and it was disappointing, and was told by front counter that they are unable to trace it. The front desk apologized and given us 3 new toothbrushes when we checked out. We hope hotel will look into this. Though the items are not expensive but to a certain this is avoidable.

We had a good stay here and facilties were great. The tap water in room is apparently spring water from mt fuji and there is free onsen for their guest which we enioyed during our 1night stay here. The only issue is it is far from the train station and take about 15-20mins walk from fujikyu station to the hotel. Although there is free shuttle bus, the timing is limited and starts at 8.45am and ends at 6pm.

We loved our trip to Mt Fuji, it was even better with Fuji Ginkei, the staff were exceptionally great! We’re muslims and they did their best to cater food for us! An absolute wonderland, I highly recommend it you can even see Mt Fuji from the bedroom 🗻 Very clean rooms, the showers were amazing, the food was great, go for it guys!

Our 2nd time staying here! Great location which is very near to Lawson and halal eatery nearby. Free shuttle provided from hotel to train station & vice versa. Bonus this time, got the room with Mt Fuji view! Definitely will be coming back here in near future! Keep up the good service 🤗

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fuji Gran Villa! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. The villa itself was stunning—beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and offering breathtaking views of Mount Fuji that felt like a dream. The amenities were top-notch, from the cozy beds to the luxurious private onsen. Every corner of the villa exuded comfort and tranquility, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding area. The location was also ideal, with easy access to local attractions and serene surroundings that provided a peaceful escape from the city. I highly recommend having the private bath reserved (book it while you're there) as the views and atmosphere are even better than the main baths on the 1st floor. We came here for our honeymoon and I had wanted one thing during our time in Kawaguchiko; to see Mt Fuji from across a lake, while enjoying tea in a Japanese room. The weather covered the mountain for almost the entire stay, except once - and it was a fantastic sight to see in person. If you visit during November, there will be more tourists. This is due to the Fall festivals taking place, and there is a large selection of stalls and markets in the area to enjoy. Furthermore, Fall has an effect on the local environment that is truly beautiful. The only disappointing thing about our stay was that we stayed for two nights and wish we had booked longer! I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

We hotel staff are all extremely nice and polite, the food buffet is delicious (especially sushi and beef steak) + there's a wide selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. My first onsen visit was very relaxing and not scary at all - with 4 pools you can have a bit of privacy. The visual of hot steam against the dark sky will remain in my memory for a long time. The hotel offers transportation to and from station, or you can just walk there in like 10 mins. The location of the hotel is super - the buses stop just outside of the hotel and you can walk to some attractions (appare boat, Herb museum etc.)

Cozy room setting with high quality drinks ware. Due to bad weather, we didn’t use the outdoor bath tub but we believe that it should have the FJ Mountain view. The 5 different hot-spring private rooms are special, no reservation is required & we tried the hot stone chair & felt good! The hot-spring section also provides to ice lolly & drinks. Buffet as the Morning breakfast with variety of foods but only serve till to 9:15am. Hotel pack up service with several time slots & operated on time.

The hotel requires a drive all the way up the hill. Hence, it's not recommended if you are not driving. Onsen and private baths are the best highlights for this hotel, otherwise the food options were very pricey. Stayed in a premium twin room and they placed a lamp right next to the mirror door which we accidentally hit and broke it while using the mirror. The hotel wanted to charged 20,000 yen for the accidental damage but we negotiated for a lower fee. Thankfully they accepted in view that we were sincere about paying but not an exorbitant pricing. Cautious to anyone staying here to look out for breakable furnishing in the room.

Resort is very near to mt Fuji, the view from villa is stunning although not view from the room however backyard from the room is good enough. We had 2 nights stay and breakfast experience is awesome, dining with mt Fuji with all self cook experience. Dinner bbq prepared by glamping is good just pricey, we had dinner outside second night, there are Aeon mall and sport depo 1 km away maybe less, we walked over and return not very hassle for us. But without car you can’t be easy at mt Fuji. Overall I love this quality glamping. 1 more sharing my friends stayed PAO, it is wonderful, exactly camping experience but high end camping facilities. Activities area is natural, We all love it.

We used the payphone at the train station to call the resort and they arranged a pick up service for us. It arrived within 15 minutes of the call so we didn’t have to wait too long in the cold. It would be better if they could let us know about this arrangement in the booking confirmation. Driver who picked us up was a delight to meet! He was cheerful, coupled with his humorous mannerism, brightened up the otherwise gloomy journey amidst the cold. Location of the resort is quite far away. Although there was a 7-11 within 10 minutes of walking, the nearest shopping cluster was 20 minutes away, although this shopping cluster is quite a complete one with a full pharmacy, supermarket and plenty of food options, ranging from cheap to exquisite. The resort is 30 minutes walk (15 minutes drive) away from Kawaguchiko station. The location will be more convenient for travelers who drive. We woke up with a direct view of Fuji-San! Absolutely breath taking. Breakfast, served buffet-style was sumptuous with Japanese food. It filled us up and got us ready for the day. Upon check out, we realized we had to book the shuttle bus to the train station. We thought it would be readily available. This was not the case as the bus at the previous timings were full. This could have been made known to us upon check in. Also, the shuttle bus is actually a 7-seater car and not a bus. Maybe right-naming the vehicle is better as it will give travelers a better understanding the capacity of the transport.

Location: Minutes away from Gem museum if you are taking the red line bus. It's located right beside the kawaguchi lake. Room: Very very big room enough to lay 5 futon if require. Furniture looks dated but functional and the room is kept very clean and tidy. Needs a physical key to access the room though. Has view of Kawaguchi lake and Mount Fuji by the window. That itself is already worth the money paid for. Food: Booked the room with Dinner and breakfast included and I would recommend anyone that books the place to do so as well, very sumptuous spread and delicious too. There is onsen within the hotel too with indoor and outdoor pool. Highly recommended for anyone considering a hotel in kawaguchi.

Came here for my friend’s birthday celebration. Hotel has tea ceremony on arrival (free of charge) at around 4pm, in a traditional tea house facing a beautiful river, the hotel also gave us a glass of a Japanese sake (also free of charge) that we can enjoy next to the river. Room is big, came with a private hot spring in the room, hot spring and living room is facing mt Fuji, very nice room. There’s a traditional drum shows after dinner everyday, also a small game after the show. We were very lucky that we both got a gift from the game. There was cockroaches in the room, one big cockroach and a few very tiny cockroaches in the bathroom area, others than that, it’s a beautiful place to stay. Still love this hotel v much.

The location of this hotel is near to many eateries like McDonalds, KFC, Saizeriya and many other restaurants (Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc). It’s 10mins walk to Fuji-Q Highland and La Ville de Gaspard Et Lisa Amusement Park. A huge Don Quijote store is just 3 mins walk from the hotel. 7-Eleven, Family Mart and Daiso is nearby too. My double room (Room 305) is quite spacious and the room’s window faces Mt. Fuji directly, the view was awesome! Only one unpleasant experience; the common/public corridor’s carpet is old and stained. My bed’s headboard was dusty and not cleaned. T

Great location, friendly staff, nice room. We stayed in a private room and they provided towels and toothbrushes. All common areas were clean. There were shower gel and shampoo in the shared bathroom, wich is nice. There is a good restaurant across the hostel. The only thing I don't like was the smell in the room. It was strong and unpleasant. There is no window to open to get rid of the smell. It was hard to stay there long. They use air fresheners to deal with the smell but i don't like it too. I prefer no smell indoors at all.

We stayed one night and hired a driver for the trip. The view around there is beautiful, waking our just a few meters away there is a donki donki, where u can buy some things. And Walking along the street there are a few restaurants. Good point is we booked a family villa. There are two floor and two toilets. The bathroom is relatively small but ok for most Asian size. Hotel breakfast is just simple bread and cereal. So i would suggest to eat breakfast not in hotel. You can grab some food in hotel, but probably you will need to plan for another meal soon . But that’s totally not a problem at all as if you are travelling around the attractive places , you will easily find good food to fill your stomach . Overall this is a very great place to stay if you have own transport

I stayed for two nights on the first floor in a bunk bed. It was my first time staying at this type of accommodation, but I had a comfortable stay. My mom is also a nice person, and she was using it for a Johnny's concert. My mom is also a Queen fan, and when she told me about going to a LIVE show next year, it was easy to talk to her because I felt a little sympathy for her ^ ^
