"🧻Quite stingy on the towels. They won't automatically change out your towels. One night I came back to the hotel and used the towel provided on the bed. I thought it was new, but it had very strong chlorine or water smell. Not sure if the cleaner had folded the same used one in the toilet and put it on the bed. I think they generally don't have enough towels because they don't want to provide extra towels if you already have 2 in the room. Maybe it's because of Sustainability efforts, but because that towels feel worn and dirty, I feel like they should be changed every night. 🦐Room service of the seafood pasta is a miss. Located near the sea hence thought the seafood would be fresh, but prawn heads are black. Meat is very soft and lumpy. Means they have kept the seafood for a long time. 🏊🏽Swimming pool is a very bright place, nice and very clean. Starts from 8am to 8pm. 🏛️Architecture of the hotel is very vintage style and vast. 🍛Breakfast buffet starts from 7am is not super, although ✅the milktea cart man is amazing. Overall the breakfast buffet and room service food (I only ordered one seafood pasta meal) wasnt a good experience for me at all. 🎶Below the hotel there is a sexy dancers club, hence you might hear loud music reverberations if you are located on the lower levels. I was located on level 11, and the music thumping could still be felt into the wee hours. Luckily I was on level 11, so the thumping still tolerable. Connecting room walls are very thin. Can hear the Chinese man speaking next door. 🤢Bathroom sink has no stopper, goes straight to the pipe. 🌊Sea view room was great！！Room floor cleanliness is ok. Bring your own hair conditioner."

"Had a pleasant stay at Grand Paragon Hotel Johor Bahru. The room was surprisingly big, clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to move around. The toilet was also very spacious, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a comfortable stay and good value for money. Would definitely consider staying here again."

"The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We appreciated the hotel’s commitment to being eco-friendly and reducing plastic waste. For example, there were separate bins for recycling and wet waste, and no plastic bags were provided in the bins. Guests should bring their own laundry bag, as plastic laundry bags are not provided. Disposable Slippers are available upon request from the reception. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable, making for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Breakfast was decent, with service available from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Another convenient feature was the water dispenser available on every floor, so guests can refill their bottles easily. It is recommended to bring your own reusable water bottle. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel, especially for travelers who appreciate environmentally friendly practices."

"Stayed at Novotel Johor Bahru and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, just a short distance from KSL Mall, making it very convenient. The room was clean, and housekeeping did a good job. We were also appreciated the complimentary upgrade to a suite. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The fridge in the suite was not cold at all, which was disappointing. Some of the room design choices were also a little odd. For example, the toilet door can be pushed inward, but doing so causes it to hit the toilet bowl, which is a poor and potentially unsafe design. The TV is fixed to the wall and does not support wired screen casting, and the mount is not a swing-arm type, so viewing angles are limited. Overall, it’s still a comfortable stay with a great location."
