Isabella and Marco gave us one of the most warmest of welcomes in all of the seven weeks we had been travelling through Europe. We were invited in and shown to our room before being offered refreshments of coffee and ice cream cake out on the terrace. One thing you will notice straight away is how everything is of a very high standard and done so beautifully. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and spotless and the linens and lace were absolutely beautiful. A tray- mobile is brought to your room before breakfast with the first coffee of the day then breakfast is served out on the terrace. Everything is done to a five star standard and there was an abundance of food and a great variety to choose from, even bacon and eggs. We felt very pampered and more like we were family coming to visit rather than strangers travelling through. Isabella and Marco went above and beyond to make our stay just perfect and it’s easy to see that they enjoy what they do as it’s what makes their B & B so popular. Our only regret was that we had only booked to stay one night. When saying goodbye we were given sandwiches to take with us, such a thoughtful thing to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to others. We would love to return one day.

Staff was very courteous, friendly and kind. Very nice and cozy place. Room is very spacious and bathroom is comfortable enough for two people. Mini fridge with water kettle, cups and tea bags available. Here’s the only “complaint” I have and the reason why I only gave 3/5 stars in cleanliness as they were not cleaned and refreshed from the previous guests staying in the room. The cups were used and dirty and empty water bottles were left in the fridge. Not an issue for us but it might be for other guests. Other than that the room and bathroom were very cleaned and well kept. The breakfast is very typical to the region (sweet pastries, toasts, coffee and juices). Would definitely stay again.

I was worried when I read the reviews regarding this hotel, However I think some people expect too much. Yes the Hotel does need some much needed maintenance but I believe in light of the recent pandemic it has like most of the world become a victim of circumstance. That being said and looking beyond the surface - this hotel has very welcoming polite staff, it was super clean and the room was spacious and the bed was comfy. it is ideally situated on the front with excellent access to bars, restaurants and shops. I would definately stay here again if I ever returned to Pescara. Thank you for our stay.

Strategic location and very near to train station. Room is spacious and comfortable. Bathroom is the biggest i ever stayed during my trip in Italy. Sofa bed is also available in the room for additional traveler. Good recommendation if you plan to stay at Pescara.

The restaurant serves a really nice dinner with a lot of options for a fair price. yes, the hotel is from the 70s, I only wish they leaned into this as a lover of design it could be really cool. The rooms are big, and clean. We had a giant balcony which was nice. Highly recommended if you’ve got kids or a car (there is a pool and abundant free parking). The breakfast is legit, they have soy milk etc. It’s independently run and multilingual with a 24 hour desk that can help you with taxi etc if your Italian is lacking. All of the staffs were 5 star worthy.Great energy overall.

We booked this hotel for 9 nights, from August 18, 2023 to August 27, 2023. In the first night an extremely noisy event (which we understood from the Reception when we complained is a DAILY event between 20:00-24:00) from the nearby hotel. No one from the hotel warned us about this. Also, this was not mentioned in the description of the hotel on the website. When we talked about this at the reception, they did not offer any solution. They knew about this problem. They said that they will try to give us another room in a few days, but an worse room that the one we paid for. We checked out the next day. The other negative aspects which are misleading in the description are: Wifi is very poor, room is too small for queen size bed (the balcony door hit the bed, bedside table furniture missing on the balcony side of the bed, balcony without privacy separators, fish smell on staircase at the day of our arrival very scarce breakfast (the day at our checkout and departure). During the breakfast, waiting in line for somebody to slice cheese and ham, waiting in line for somebody to prepare eggs. (Nobody there for the 20 minutes we took breakfast). It seems that Sea Lion Hotel retained the Covid 19 restrictions which benefit their side and limit tourists services, fitness and Spa are out of work, but they marketed it as they offer these sevices. This hotel is a 3 hotel at best, not as it is listed, as a 4 hotel with a rate of 190 euro/night!!! Of course, they don't want to reimburse the money. Credo che sia d'obbligo questa recensione... Siamo stati 3 giorni in questo hotel.... Arrivati venerdì sera e ripartiti poco fa'... Devo dire che questo hotel mi ha proprio deluso... Allora partiamo dalla camera, letto matrimoniale piccolo e scomodo, non all'altezza di una Junior Suite. La vasca idromassaggio provoca un leggerissimo massaggio, e muove leggermente l'acqua, bella a primo impatto, ma di nessuna utilità, soprattutto se in casa hai già una jacuzzi, non vi è paragone. La sauna salta dall'interruttore principale della stanza e se non lo sai devi attendere di trovare qualcuno alla reception che possa sistemartela....e tanto per dire ogni giorno vi è una persona diversa alla reception...abbiamo chiesto quale numero dovevamo comporre dal telefono della camera per parlare con loro alla reception, visto che non vi era alcun riferimento in camera, ma non è stato in grado di dircelo. Mi è parso, che non avesse idea che normalmente negli hotel vi sono i telefoni interni alle camere che vengono utilizzati per mettersi in contatto con la reception. Passiamo alla salubrità degli ambienti....come potrete vedere dalle foto che allego alla presente, vi era nella Junior suite una quantità di muffa indescrivibile a parole e una puzza di fogna che proveniva dallo scarico della vasca idromassaggio e dal bagno. Le camere non sono insonorizzate, per cui per ben 2 notti alle 2 e mezza ci siamo svegliati a causa del rumore dell'idromassaggio della camera affianco....per non parlare delle grida e i pianti dei bambini. La colazione, diciamo punteggio 2/5 , molti prodotti confezionati e se arrivavi dopo le 9 non trovavi più la metà dei prodotti( orario 7-10). Il parcheggio non è in garage, ma in posto auto e costa 8 euro al giorno. In ascensore, si legge che ”la Direzione declina ogni responsabilità per gli oggetti di valore lasciati nelle camere”.... scusate ma lo non esiste...per legge se sparisce qualcosa dalle camere siete voi i diretti responsabili e una scritta in ascensore non vi salverà. Ciliegina sulla torta... Al momento del pagamento della stanza avevano invertito le caparre versate... Pretendevano che noi pagassimo più del dovuto, abbiamo dovuto rifare i calcoli con loro, fortunatamente avevamo gli screenshot della prenotazione e alla fine abbiamo pagato quello che dovevamo pagare. Purtroppo credo che siano necessarie anche questo tipo di recensioni, non solo quelle belle....è giusto avvisare futuri clienti e si spera che sia costruttiva anche per il proprietario dell'hotel.... Speriamo in un miglioramento.... Ma noi sicuramente non torneremo.... Ps: I nostri amici hanno dovuto passare la prima notte in una quadrupla, nonostante avessero prenotato un bilocale, perché non è disponibile al momento del ceck-in....SENZA PAROLE
