The hotel did look new outside but actually quite dated. But still easily, might be the best in KB! Nearby are shopping mall and few local eateries. Room/bed was big, king bed was comfy. Only the toilet bowl bit lower than usual. Breakfast variety is massive, love that you can get Kelantanese famous local laksam, roti titap, kuih akok and some Johorean steam bread with pool peanut curry. Continental menu, pastries, egg station available too. The pool is huge and their gym also very big and quite updated. Afternoon tea packages are quite interesting. Located just a 10 mins to city centre. Would love to come back again to this hotel.
Just one I noticed, no sejadah in my room. Don't forget to bring your own.
Overall, the room was good, but the wardrobe had a musty smell that bothered me while sleeping. The room wasn't soundproof at all; I could hear snoring from the next room. 😂 The cleanliness could use some improvement; the towels weren't new and looked like they'd been used for years. 😂 They really should replace them; new ones can't be that expensive.
Went for a short trip in Kelantan and we enjoyed our stay so much! Spent 2D 1N for food hunting and it was definitely a worth it experience. Hotel was nice and cozy. Here are some of the dishes we tried during our stay in Kelantan. Love it!! 😍👍🏻
Great location; near to pasar siti khadijah, the staff were helpful and friendly, checkin were smooth and fast, the room was comfortable. Good facilities, especially the laundry service. Has an elevator and also suitable for people using wheelchairs, with good accessibility. Overall im very satisfied with my stay.
We stayed for just one night. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, although the room felt a bit dated. The pool is quite spacious and offers a good sense of privacy, our 6-year-old son especially enjoyed it. Wish the hotel could provide more activities like paintball & ATV ride.
I would rate it 4 stars for a resort-style experience.
Best hotel in KB so far.. i love the breakfast too despite Ramahdan month still many varieties at the hotel restaurant. Just a bit disappointed on the treadmills that require proper maintenance or perhaps get a new set.
For families with babies, no fridge in here. Cheap enough for the price though so just an fiy. Then, the exhaust fan in the toilet were very loud (It's link with the toilet light). Would disturb sleep if you're a light sleeper. Advertise for its Muslim friendly, but still no tap water at knee height for easy absolution, there's tap water at the sink, bidet (with the trigger) and a shower head.
For me okay, nice hotel walaupun furnished dia mcm da lama sikit tp masih boleh guna. Thank you juga ada iron yg jenis steam iron. Staff dorang semua okay. Mungkin boleh tambah lagi chanel tv and quality siaran. Itu sahaja, yg lain semua terbaik! 🥰👍✨
The hotel is right in middle most assessable area within the town. Good location and easy to get food with a night market too.

The hotel is currently having a lobby renovation so entry and exit is through the Billion Supermarket lobby. Having said that, the hotel made the temporary pathway rather integrated and security posts and reception was extended to the temporary lobby. The hotel lobby itself is grand and beautiful and staff were always available, attentive and accommodating. Check in was pretty smooth. My room was very spacious and decor although a bit dated is still good. The hallway wallpaper outside needs some care though. Toilet is good and comfortable seating and working spaces. Bed is supersized and amenities are adequate. Wi-Fi connectivity is easy and very fast! Breakfast variety is as good as any 5 star hotel although consistency in taste is the issue. I had a great breakfast on the first day but the second day was rather meh despite having almost similar dishes as the day before. Dining staff are very kind and gracious to your needs.
Strategic location, clean room new building, friendly and helpful staff, love the gym perhaps it could be better if provide small towel and water in the gym. Overall satisfied.
Always be my choice for staying in Kota Bharu… Good location as walking distance to Pasar Malam Wakaf Che Yah… Foods are everywhere and the price is affordable… Many restaurants you could choose… For the hotel itself, the breakfast is amazing !! So yummy and variety of foods served… Highly recommended !
The room very clean. I love their buffet breakfast spread , have locak delicacies like nasi dg and nasi kerabu. The staff is friendly, always greet us and offer help. My grandchildren love the pool very much because the swimming pool is big
A night at Jewels Hotel, Kota Bharu – charmingly modest yet full of pleasant surprises. We snagged a room for RM152, and despite its appearance as a budget establishment, it turned out to be delightfully comfortable. The room was spacious, elegant, beautifully furnished, everything one needs to unwind after a day of exploring. Only one small hiccup: toiletries were basic — a 3-in-1 shower gel (shampoo + conditioner) plus towel, and that’s it. No toothbrush, paste, cotton buds and so on. If those were included, I’d be rating it an A+. Some interesting colour: Jewels Hotel was formerly known as Habib Hotel and is part of the HABIB Group. Its theme, as you might guess, revolves around “jewels”, reflected in its decor and name. All in all, for value and comfort right in the heart of Kota Bharu, it hits the spot — perfect for travellers on the go wanting something pleasant without breaking the bank.
We stayed here over the public holiday break—yes, it was a bit crowded, but that’s understandable. The resort is really close to Pantai Bisikan Bayu, and we enjoyed a nice walk around the area. The pool was a big hit with my niece and nephew—it’s huge, with lots of seating around it. Pool opens at 9am; would’ve loved if it opened a little earlier. It took me a while to find the shower by the pool, so having a few more or clearer signs would be helpful. In our room, the sink was clogged and the fan wasn’t working—maybe the maintenance team could do regular rounds to check. I may book direct to resort next time as it is cheaper to direct booking. Found out after I had to add another room. Anyway, we had a good time!
