Hotels With Breakfast in Vastra Gotaland, Sweden

It was a quite wonderful experience to stay at First G hotel in terms of the following, I can actually say I have never gotten this kind of experience outside of Japan in my life. Their services with smiling faces, breakfast especially scrambled egg and a lot of line up of breads, convenient location to take almost all trams which will take you anywhere in Goteborg, finally entire performance per cost. This was good hotel, located in the center of Gothenborg where you have good access to almost everything. It was a beautiful hotel with a good interior design. It was clean enough. As a not good point, we can say they don't put slipperies in the rooms that is a little annoying. Breakfast was perfect with a very good anf acceptable range of foods and drinks. Parking cost is too much here. It's almost 400 SEK per each day, buy you still have this alternative that park your car in some public parkings, with 10 minutes walking to the hotel and much lower cost.

We stayed one night here prior to a departure the next morning. The hotel is in a very convenient location and is a great place to stay. The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff were polite and helpful. The bar was pleasant and drinks were good. Best of all is that the very good buffet breakfast is available starting at 4:30 AM, which is unusual but important in an airport hotel. The free shuttle was available on 5 minutes notice, which we very much appreciated. A trouble-free stay!

Scandic Europa is the perfect location to stop if you ate going to a concert at the Ullevi stadium. Located right by the main station. The rooms were adequate and the breakfast excellent. We did have a couple of issues that were immediately sorted out so nothing negative to say. We left very early in the morning, Uber was on time and we were provided with breakfast boxes. Overall a very good choice.

Having an appointment close by this property has a superb location literally opposite Göteborg central. Great if you are arriving by train, coming by car means that parking is at an (understandable) premium. But, for 395:- a night you get a reasonably spacious garage with direct access to the hotel. The hotel is designed in a square formation with a large atrium in the middle. It's good to be aware that many of the rooms face the atrium, which means your view will be looking out into the atrium. On Friday night the hotel had some event with live DJ and loud (but good!) music - having one of these internal rooms would have been disturbing. The check-in went smoothly, the receptionist recognized my Radisson status and gave us a room overlooking the square (one could see the station from the room!) and it was very quiet (didn't hear anything from the party/event on Friday night). Bathroom was fresh and clean, the shower had decent pressure although it tended to splash water on the floor. The executive room we got was spacious, had a comfy sofa (which didn't feel super clean), very comfortable bed, nespresso machine .. and no shoehorn! It seems to be a disappointing trend for Radisson properties to either have a pathetic small shoehorn, or none at all. The entrance was carpeted which although it had been vacuumed, it felt a little dirty. The rest of the room was wooden floors. The TV looked impressive - a good size .. but it turned out to be quite a dated unit with no accessible HDMI ports, we never used it. Breakfast is not included by default in the rate, and I have mentioned in other Radisson property reviews, this tends to reduce crowding and improve quality significantly. Breakfast was good here, not quite as good as the one in Stockholm, but the staff were overall very good. Didn't have a chance to try the gym or spa, but entering and exiting the lobby area it always felt lively and there was a hub of activity, especially on Friday evening. I would stay here again, and would recommend this property.

Good location, Great reception from staff when we arrived to check in. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very modern and quirky with a scientific authentic feel. It made the hotel unique with the feel . The room was well equipped to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower is a power shower. Simply amazing. The food was of exceptional quality. The service was excellent, nothing was ever too much trouble. The only criticism I could mention, is the menu is very restricted, not much choice in main meals, but on saying all that, the meals they did have , are of very high quality, and you will not be disappointed. The food is presented very well and tasted amazing. We will be back. The breakfast is plentiful with amazing amount of choice. Very high quality and plenty to eat.Thank you for an amazing stay. Totally blown away with everything about the hotel , service and the food.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for a while, especially for the price which is excellent value for a hotel in the heart of the city. Very close to the airport bus (100m) and walking distance to everywhere downtown. The staff were all smiling and very helpful, and special mention to the excellent buffet breakfast. The room was a very good size, as was the bathroom. Fairly fast wifi, and loved the unusual set of dumbells in every room for a quick workout!! Will definitely stay here again, and highly recommend.

I needed to arrange a conference at the same hotel a trade show was being held. Based on a previous experience I thought all would be ok, I was wrong. The hotel seems to work openly against your actual requirements. I'd asked for rooms to be reserved which proved a problem. I'd said from the outset that we'd require a group dinner with menu choices, this also proved to be a problem which resulted in me needing to find a restaurant nearby who could help. Ridiculous that Gothia towers (at it's size) expects a large group to all eat the same meal with no regards to choice, whereas a local restaurant can accommodate you seems strange to say the least. When arriving at the conference rooms I was taken aback that I wasn't able to meet my contact whom I'd shared so many emails. It was a faceless envelope handover and the mention of 'ask at reception if you need anything'. The only positive from this was a lady called Christina who was able to help locate items that had been shipped ahead, I'm grateful for her help. The breakfast room at the hotel was disorganized chaos, find somewhere to sit by yourself and get on with things. It reminded me of an all you can eat option in a hotel in Egypt years ago. An experience I never repeated, much like this event left me with the same thought!

Bunk beds so comfy I can't wake up in the morning. Late check in was seamless. Grocery store and tram station just a stone throw away. Able to leave luggage at the property even after check out which was really convenient

The hotel is located next to the railway station and looks very beautiful. Especially at Christmas time, the hotel service is very considerate, and it will help bring parking to pick up the car. Breakfast is OK. The restaurant on the second floor is no problem except for being expensive. :-) The swimming pool on the roof is particularly great. Although it is a bit smaller, it is not here for exercise after all, but the atmosphere is very good!

The room has just been renovated for a year, the facilities are perfect, the room on the 12th floor has a good view. The hotel lobby is great in design, with a lot of space and a lot of sofas. The breakfast was particularly rich.

We stayed at the clarion hotel the pier one night in August on our scandinavian road trip. Its not in the center of gothenburg but on the other side of the river gota. So much construction and traffic. But we made it to the nice comfy hotel. There's paid underground parking. Very friendly staff and clean hotel. Rooms are a lil small. Beds were ok but pillows very soft. Breakfast buffet is included in price. It was the usual breakfast food and good specially the breads. There's buses and ferries into the city though we did not take them. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a quick overnight stop on our way to Norway. The room was clean and comfortable and had all the basics covered. For a night or two stopover this place is very handy. It was quiet and the car was fine outside. We arrived quite late at night and well after reception had closed. But we messaged the hotel that day and they sent the code to open the door and our room. Very fast responses and very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is a self service affair but perfectly fine. Fruit, breads and cereals. Plenty of choice of milks, juices and yoghurts in the fridge. Exactly what you need for a one night stop.

We got a really nice reception at the front desk and the personell was very service-minded and easy to interact with. Good breakfast and a nice room. We were getting married in Borås and was honestly looking for some kind of boutique or spa hotel or similar, which there isn't any of in Borås. We did choose Scandic as a backup and we are very happy with our choice. // The couple that was getting married in August

This hotel is under renovation, but we didn't notice anything that disrupted our stay while we were there. We got a room on a high floor with a great view over Viskan. The bathroom is large and the room is a decent size. I loved the comforters on the bed. The breakfast selection was huge and delicious! The only thing I was not completely satisfied with was that the beds were a bit too hard for my liking, but I've noticed this is a common thing in Swedish hotel rooms. The comforter was super comfy and warm, though :) and the room was a comfortable temperature. Will definitely stay again next time we visit!

Hotel service is very good, the location is slightly worse

I have no trust in Comfort Hotel and it doesn't matter if you use them in Sweden or Norway it always dirty and something is broken. It maybe has a slightly lower price but then again you notice why when one stays at this hotel. Poor service, dirty and broken hotel rooms. I strongly recommend everyone one that is looking for good service and quality hotel rooms to stay far away. I am not a fan of air bnb but is I now have to make a choice between comfort hotel and air bnb then air bnb it is. If there is any other hotel close by the I recommend you look into that. After staying at this hotel it was the last chance I gave comfort. It is overrated, ”hipster” cool hotel that thinks on the environment but one could just wish this was true all the way. But as I realized much of it is not so and many that work for comfort are not qualified for the job they do.

All the business hotels in Boras were full, so I ended up in this place to my colleagues' great amusement. It used to be a hostel. The hotel is located a 20 minute walk from central town and appears to have been recently renovated. It's clean but basic. Two significant drawbacks: Thin walls between the rooms and no blackout curtains. Warning for twin and/or singel beds which are very narrow and not comfortable. If you are going to stay here, bring ear plugs and blackout eye mask. Staff were helpful but did not look very professional with relaxed attire and tattoos showing. I was charged 1750 for a room at the hotel. That was 1000 too much in relation for what was offered. In all likelyhood this was a question of supply and demand as two conventions were taking place in the city when I visited for work.
