*In person class* Offers instruction in the techniques for infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) -(BB) Our CPR: Infant Only (In-person) class offers instruction in the techniques for infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). This class uses the American Heart Association's (AHA) Family & Friends CPR curriculum and is a noncertification class. It is intended for anyone who wants to learn CPR, but does not need an AHA course completion card. We recommend this course to new parents, grandparents and other caregivers of newborns. An instructional booklet is given to each couple. Class Length: One session, 1.5 hours Class Fee: $65 per couple. Please make arrangements to leave your infant at home. What you will learn: Infant CPR Infant choking Each couple will have the opportunity for hands-on practice on both infant and child manikins. All manikins will be sanitized prior to your class. Gloves and disinfecting wipes will also be available during class. When to take the class: There is no wrong time to take CPR. We recommend taking the class in the 3rd trimester of your pregnancy or within your baby's first 12 months of age, so the information is fresh for you. This class is specifically focused on CPR for a 0-12 month old only. *In person class* A convenient bundle of classes that includes topics you need to know as you prepare for the arrival of your baby - (BB) Our Baby Prep Bundle offers a comprehensive overview to prepare you for your baby's arrival. The bundle includes a full-day in-person class, and three online classes, designed for those seeking a thorough yet time-efficient learning experience. The full-day in-person class consolidates material from three separate classes into a single day. Hands-on demonstrations of diapering, bathing, etc are removed from this bundled class. If you prefer a deeper dive with hands-on demonstrations, we recommend signing up for the individual classes instead of this condensed bundle. What is included in the Baby Prep Bundle: A full-day (8-hour) in-person class that condenses the content from three different classes into one convenient day: Childbirth Preparation : 3.5 hours Lunch Break: 30 minutes Newborn Care : 2 hours 15 minutes 15 minute Break Infant-Only CPR : 1.5 hours Three online classes: Breastfeeding Basics (Online) Comfort Techniques for Labor (Online) Infant Safety and Babyproofing (Online) These online classes are offered at various time slots, allowing you to sign up for dates that work best for you. After purchasing the bundle, you will receive three promo codes that will waive the class fees when registering. Class Fee: $465 per couple When to take the class: We recommend completing the class approximately three weeks before your due date or between 33 weeks to 36 weeks of your pregnancy, unless you are expecting twins or your physician has advised you otherwise.
