Detail of the Tour: Tour guides will walk groups around the main campus and occasionally inside buildings but that change may vary as classes are in progress. Tours of classrooms will not be included. Note: Bring water, comfortable shoes and clothing as we will be on foot throughout the tour. Accommodations : This event is wheelchair accessible. Join us for an in-person class in Integrated Pest Management and Turf Basics. When: Friday April 11, 9am – 11am Where: NC Cooperative Extension Office, 25 Referendum Drive, Building N Training Room. The session will be an overview of turf management practices for the 4 common warm season grasses with an emphasis on maintenance requirements for the summer season , integrated pest management including a discussion about application timing, and a self-guided tour of our onsite Educational Botanical Garden. A wealth of related resource material will also be available to attendees. The fee for the program supports the Brunswick County Botanical Demonstration Garden and other Cooperative Extension consumer horticulture outreach activities within Brunswick County. Note: Sales End April 9th. No refunds after April 9th. All refunds will go back to the original source of payment, less the nominal Eventbrite processing fee.
