Join the Opening Reception of the 9x9, Unfolding Art and Design Exhibit, a culmination of nine months of artistic exploration by nine aspiring young artists. This after-school arts program, known as UNFOLDING, offers a unique method of arts education. Participants are completely immersed in experiential learning, guided by professional artists and a life coach. They reflect on their personal and collective situations, learn from their environment, and the people around them. Over the past nine months, these talented individuals, aged 11 to 14, have delved into various artistic mediums, including photography, printmaking, graphic design, visual arts, paper mache, pottery, community arts, and land-based education. The exhibition will take place at the prestigious Paper Mill Gallery, located at the Todmorden Mills Heritage Site in Toronto.
