All proceeds from the run will benefit Accent Pontiac, an organization dedicated to empowering students in Pontiac. To register for the run, visit the online registration page before Tuesday, October 31 at 11:59pm. If you miss this deadline, don't worry - you can still register in person. Simply visit any of the packet pickup locations, including the day of the race, for walk-in registration. The course itself is a 5K circle beginning at Kirk in the Hills on Long Lake Road. You'll run along mildly flat and hilly paved roads, enjoying the stunning scenery of the changing leaves. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the course to ensure your safety, and a support vehicle will be available if you're unable to complete the race. In addition to the run, there is also an opportunity to support Accent Pontiac students directly through the Green Bucket Run Snack Drive. You can donate items from the Snack List on the day of the race or during packet pickup. This ensures that students in Pontiac have access to nourishing snacks during their after-school program.
