Fez Festival of World Sacred Music | Fes
Celebration
Every year, the ancient Moroccan city of Fez is enlivened by the extraordinary music of the Fez World Sacred Music Festival. This exceptional cultural event is renowned as one of the world's premier sacred music traditions. The 29th Fez World Sacred Music Festival will be held from June 4th to 7th, 2026, against the magnificent backdrop of Fez's ancient Medina—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—bringing together diverse spiritual and musical expressions. Founded after the Gulf War in 1994, the Fez Festival aims to celebrate religious diversity and promote cultural understanding through the universal language of music. What sets the Fez Festival apart is its commitment to bringing together artists from Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, and indigenous faith traditions, performing in historic venues to highlight the sacredness of their art.
