You’ll get hands-on guidance to understand your camera and take control of your settings. This 2-hour classroom-style session covers: Your Starting Point – Discuss your current skill level and where you’d like to grow. Gear Review – Understanding your own camera. Explore the buttons, dials, screens and sound on your equipment. In order to use your equipment, you need to understand all the features and benefits at your fingertips. Sip and Sculpt Fridays is a guided, beginner-friendly introduction to soapstone carving. Participants will learn basic carving techniques, safe material handling, and simple hand-sanding methods using water to reduce dust. With the ability to choose from a small set of pre-selected shapes and designs, participants will be able to create a finished sculptural piece. The emphasis is on process, experimentation, and creative confidence rather than artistic perfection.
