The classic autumn event, the "Misato Fireworks Festival 2026," was held at Edogawa Sports Park in Misato City, Saitama Prefecture. Themed "Throwing into the Night Sky, Driving the Future," the event transformed the gratitude, dreams, and aspirations for connection among local residents, businesses, organizations, and children into a series of fireworks bursting in the sky. Most notably, the "Nagareyama Fireworks Festival," held simultaneously in Nagareyama City, Chiba Prefecture, on the opposite shore, also participated, resulting in a total of approximately 14,000 fireworks displays across the two cities.

The Kawagoe Festival, held over a weekend in mid-October, is considered Koedo Kawagoe's most lively event of the year. A highlight of the festival are the spectacular floats carrying intricately crafted dolls, which parade through the heart of Koedo Kawagoe's iconic "kurazoku" (traditional warehouse buildings) district. A highlight is the scene known as "hikkawase," where the floats and accompanying bands face off to the cheers of the audience.

This event, organized by the Youth Division of the Konosu City Chamber of Commerce in Saitama Prefecture, aimed to "promote regional development and bring dreams and hope to children." The grand finale, "Phoenix Dance," was a spectacular performance dubbed "Japan's Last Spark," consisting of a four-foot-long firework and a 300-foot-long fireworks display. The event is renowned for launching the world's heaviest four-foot-long firework, which was listed in the Guinness World Records in 2014. The program was rich in exciting and truly breathtaking.

The Hanno Festival features 11 floats, which can be roughly divided into two categories: "Edo-style floats," carrying puppets, a hallmark of the Kawagoe festival, and "yatai-style floats," characterized by gabled roofs and carvings.
